We bought an apartment through this agent, the process was more painful than it should have been. All along the process James, the agent who handled our case reassured us we will he able to arrange a short term tenancy so we can move in on the date convenient for us. On the day of our move we called them from a fully packed van. We were told we won't be able to move in and James has vanished. He was not responding to his colleagues' phone calls, apparently he was ill. His colleagues tried their best, but we had to spend a week in an alternative accommodation and he never apologised for the massive stress he caused us, even though the agency made a good profit from our purchase. The solicitor they recommended was absolutely useless.

This was the worst experience I've ever had with an estate agent. They were evasive & deceptive throughout the whole process, never giving a straight answer or returning calls as promised on countless occasions. They constantly reassured us by saying yes to our every request or by saying it shouldn't be a problem, but then when it came down to it, all these issues or requests were ignored, by which time we had already given our deposits on the good faith that they would keep their word. What a mistake! Avoid at all costs.

James Lee has quite simply reinstalled my faith in estate agents. He has been proactive in calling me about properties coming onto the market; he has listened and learnt 'my taste' and doesn't waste my time with properties that are in the wrong area etc; he has provided really helpful professional advice to a clueless first time buyer (both about the properties, the local area, what to watch out for, the buying process. He has always been open and transparent in his dealings with me and I have come to trust him implicitly. I very much feel he has had my best interests at heart throughout the process: despite the fact that I ended up buying a property through someone else he was even happy to recommend some local reliable lawyers who could deal with the transaction quickly. Should / when I or any of my friends look to sell their properties I know exactly who I will be calling! Can I recommend him for employee of the month please?

Top service from Greene & Co - I would highly recommend them. They showed us 6 houses in one day, and were able to reschedule on the spot, when we wanted to urgently look for one - the one that we finally booked. Furthermore, they helped us with the bureaucratic issues and we largely enjoyed it, since we were moving from abroad first time in the UK. We will definitely recommend them to our friends. However, they lose 1 star out of 5 for claiming that the house we rented had under floor heating, which it didn't. I Think though it was an honest mistake and hold no grudges.
