GoogleAs Im currently abroad,I've been trying to ask the agency to send me a video viewing of a property I saw available to rent. If I would be happy with what I see, I would of made an offer and take the flat. I've been talking to Ben who is refusing do so given that they feel more comfortable renting to people who come by to view it physically. Definitely not recommend getting in touch with them - it's a waste of time if you are abroad and need to rent. 0 flexibility
Good afternoon Cecilia, I appreciate you taking the time to leave this feedback. I am sorry to hear you were not happy with being unable to arrange a video viewing of the property you were interested in. As mentioned previously, we do offer video viewings, however, we do not have one available currently for the flat you enquired about. The property is currently occupied and the next available time to potentially record a video viewing for you would be at the time where we have a very high number of physical viewings taking place. We anticipate a number of these applicants are likely to offer on the property, therefore there is a strong possibility the property would be taken by the time we could send you a video, hence my reluctance in promising you a video viewing and wanting to manage your expectations. You are correct in saying we do feel more comfortable showing the property to someone physically, as we believe the applicant can get a better overall feel for the property and surrounding areas this way and we believe this works in the tenant's best interest. Saying all of this, we have rented properties to tenants overseas via video viewings previously and will continue to offer video viewings when possible. My offer to register your requirements with us, so we can keep you up to date with any suitable properties with video viewings available of course still stands. Please feel free to contact me directly if you would like to do this or have any further questions. I sincerely hope you are able to secure a suitable property soon. GoogleWent for a hail Mary nothing-to-lose inquiry on a property that was stunning for the price and too good to be true, expecting hidden details if it was even still on the market, instead Ben called me up less than an hour after my RightMove inquiry, provided details, helped me set a viewing, showed my partner around since I couldn't attend the same day gave me the option to take the property off the market, showing a great deal more trust than a young guy with his first job expects on his first move. I have lived in London for 10 years, in around 5 properties within that time and can honestly say Haart South Woodford are the best I’ve ever dealt with. They seem to really care about you as a tenant which unfortunately quite rare.
