Very impressed with the rental experience via Matt Bird at the Clerkenwell office. During our search, we messaged out of hours and he responded very quickly. He didn’t push properties at us, rather he made good use of our little time, he didn’t just show up with keys, but with answers to questions and within our parameters he thought out of the box in terms of what to show us. Thank you Matt - you were tremendously helpful when others were just flooding us with guff!

In 12 weeks of marketing they only managed to produce 5 viewings for our flat. That is after we persuaded Foxtons to reduce the initial asking price and then persuaded them again to reduce it four weeks into the sale period. They still operate the old Foxtons model of massively inflating the asking price. They are also the only agents not prepared to reduce their 2.5% fee. Very poor service.

My husband and I were searching for a flat in Clerkenwell over the summer. We saw a few properties on Zoopla that were being sold by Foxtons and we reached out. They responded in good time and Stephanos was great in arranging viewings that worked around our schedule. Once we found the flat we wanted it was a bit of a rollercoaster. Greg stepped in to take us through the purchasing. I really found this to be one of the most stressful periods in my life due to also selling our flat. Greg and his team were there to talk us through the process and help with communication between all the various parties. They were super helpful and even helped us to arrange storage of our stuff as our completion dates did not line up. I would like to say a big thank you to Stephanos and Greg and the whole Foxtons team at the Clerkenwell office for being so professional and helpful throughout.

She is prompt, efficient and listened to my needs down to the last details, so much so that she was able to find me my ideal property in less than 1 day. Working with Matt Bird has been such a lovely experience. My partner and I are expats who just moved from California and we had many agents make outrageous requests due to not being UK citizens (months of rent up front, 3 year leases). Matt was the complete opposite. He took the time to understand our situation, and worked with us. He explained the differences in the UK versus US leasing, and helped through every step of the process. He went above and beyond to answer even the silliest of questions. Greg Nickson was the estate agent for our purchase and did things quickly, politely and sympathetically. Our purchase wasn't easy for various reasons but Greg recognized what everyone needed, and held the different parties and their interests together well. Four stars rather than five because dealing with Foxtons meant we got some other annoying and intrusive sales callers from their head office, who had to be told firmly to stay away. But Greg and the Clerkenwell office were good to deal with.

I walked in at Foxtons Clerkenwell office from street desperate, after over a month of failed attempt to find a place to rent. Staff were attentive, took my application with care and found few matching options for me in a short period of time when market was very limited. Jon Hanson was particularly helpful, convening me to view an option I thought would not work was reluctant to see, but he knew it was a match. Brilliant experience of selling unusual period property with Foxtons. Greg Nickson was superb in his role and went above and beyond to help and support me throughout the process.
