Thanks a lot to Foxtons Sales Team and i would like to start by Hunay, Amir and Sherry who have been an excellent team. Before i talk about Sherry, i would like to thank Hunay (apologies if I have mis-spelled) who showed me the property at first place and then it was Aamir who showed me the property second time and each time the experience of meeting these two gentlemen were amazing, through professionals and had a human touch as well which is important. So thanks once again Hunay and Aamir. When it is destined it is bound to happen. Sherry Roberts another through professional, was in constant connect with regular updates. She was excellent in communicating, reverting with updates when needed. Excellent people management skills. I wish Sherry the very best for his future career and move up in the ladder. She is definitely an asset to foxtons and so as team like Aamir and Hunay. No show, very unprofessional!

Had a view on a bank holiday.Me and my partner travelled all the way from York to do a house viewing in London.Foxtons called on Friday and confirmed our viewing for the following Monday.We went to the property and waited for our agent, Mr. Ahad Waseem, to show up and give us a tour of the property. We waited more than 20 mins in the rain, only to find out by the owner of the house that an offer was already put in place the previous day and that the meeting should have been canceled.No one informed us about this, we lost so many hours of our day, during a rainy bank holiday.Very unprofessional, I do not recommend their services!

Excellent New Lettings Manager

My new lettings manager, Francisco De Freitas Pinto, has been excellent and there have already been two issues that occurred fairly quickly since he took on the role. He has resolved these in a very timely manner and has been highly communicative and kept me very much in the loop. The experience with lettings managers do vary a bit historically, but Francisco has been really great so far

At first I thought I had a great and…

At first I thought I had a great and smooth experience with them but on the day I was supposed to move in to the property I was shocked with the lack of communication between the agent and the landlord and the property wasn’t ready at all and I couldn’t move in. The very restrictive rules by the landlord with the lack of trust in my agent(not replying to my messages for 2 days and not answering my phone calls when I had trouble with the landlord ) led me to not proceed with them and gave up on the holding deposit.Very disappointing experience.

Navigating the complex auction process with ease, thanks to Foxton and their incredible team

I recently had the pleasure of working with Foxton's Auction desk to purchase my first home, and I can confidently say that the experience was a positive one. I especially want to give a shoutout to Ahmed Ali, the Auction Broker who provided exceptional support and guidance throughout the entire process. Ahmed was always available to answer any questions I had, and he took the time to explain each step in a way that was easy for me to understand. Thanks to his help, I was able to successfully navigate the complex and often confusing auction process with ease.Also, in addition to the auction desk, i had very positive experience also from the viewing process with Xavier (Fulham) who gave us a lot of details about the history of the Imperial Wharf developement that he knows very well and this was very helpful for us to decide. Overall, I highly recommend Foxton including their new Auction desk service for anyone looking to purchase a property through an auction. Good experience

First, I met with Mr. Tom Kennard, who was calm and confident. Then I met his team member, Amelia, who was responsible for the sale of my property. She worked with the solicitors on both sides and impressed me with her professionalism and enthusiasm. She guided me step by step on how to solve problems. Concerning the Freehold issue and the changing of the Freeholder, I had to paid the new management agent £480 to speed up the sale process. While expecting to have the 'pack' completed within ten days, it took the management more than seven months. In frustration, I gave up. Luckily, it was Amelia who helped me to deal with the new management. In the end, we succeeded.My thanks to Amelia and Mr Kennard.

Foxtons in East London took over my house sale from another agent I became very unhappy and dissatisfied with, so much so I spoke to the manager of the other agency that they seemed to give up marketing my property.I wish I had gone with Foxtons from the start, Bilal (Billy) and his team took over immediately and I had so many viewings and offers, Billy delivered on everything he said he would, especially after the experience I had with the other agents, he organised, liaised and coordinated everything, he and his team were faultlessly instrumental in finding me a fantastic committed buyer at a price that maximised the difficult circumstances of the market through several rate rises. Through mortgage approval, exchange and completion he kept everything progressing as quickly and smoothly as possible. There were problems, he and his team and their recommended solicitor dealt with everything in a consummately professional, expert manner. I can fully recommend Foxtons and from my experience especially the team at the East London branch.

Avoid Foxtons Short Lets

I would strongly advise against going through Foxtons for short lets.Foxtons’ short let offering claims to check all the boxes, “bring your suitcase and we’ll provide the rest,” “fully furnished to a high standard,” “travel light, all you need to purchase are the consumables,” etc. The agent I worked with to find my flat was also extremely helpful and efficient.Upon arrival, I was very disappointed to find that the property’s condition and level of furnishing were far from ready for move in. The flat lacked many basic items, appliances and fixtures were broken, the mobile broadband was slow and tapped out after two weeks, and the general condition of the flat was poor and not well maintained. In addition to the issues at move in, several substantive maintenance issues arose during my tenancy and the property manager was extremely unresponsive and avoidant. Many of the maintenance issues were never resolved, I ended up having to buy the basic items missing from the flat out of pocket, and I never got working internet.The antics continued during move out. Foxtons included professional cleaning as a required check out task, costing £350. The check-out report included multiple incorrect or misleading claims about damage to the flat and missing items that the landlord used to file unfounded claims for full deduction of my security deposit, which I had to take through a formal dispute process to have returned.Friends who also had a short let through Foxtons had the same experience, so I know this was not an isolated issue. It’s clear that at least the short-let strategy at Foxtons is to misrepresent properties to get tenant locked in, then underdeliver, evade, and claw back as much money as possible at the end. If you rent with Foxtons, please be wary of these tactics before you sign a lease.

Sellers avoid using Foxton's to sell your property

As a buyer I've tried to view a number of properties with Foxtons, I've had 2 viewings but tried to have numerous other viewings, and the agent's behaviour is poor. Not sending you the address or sending you the wrong address. Not knowing answers to my questions as a buyer about service charges and ground rents. Trying to force me to see properties that clearly don't fit my needs. Overall it's just poor communication and service, as a seller avoid Foxton's, you want an estate agent that will be polite to your buyers and provide answers to their questions, if you have a property with them and it isn't selling it's a combination of overvaluation and poor customer service with buyers.

Very poor experience; recommend Iuliana

I had a poor experience with Foxton's - the first property manager completely mishandled things (issues with hot water not resolved for 8 months during winter, in direct violation of my rights as a tenant, incorrectly stating things were fixed). During showings of the flat I was in, at least one letting agent left the flat without locking it properly. However, Iuliana is professional and effective. She is responsive and would try to get things resolved in a timely manner; she always checked in with any discrepancies (i.e. if I made an early rent payment unexpectedly). Will never rent through Foxton's as a tenant again.

Shadane was amazing

Shadane was amazing, from the first call we explained what we were looking for and he matched properties that were just perfect and exactly what we were looking for. Within the first day of viewings we found our perfect property and we’re able to put an offer in straight away and secure the flat. We were looking for 6months through Zoopla but we decided to sign up to Foxtons and Shadane went out of his way, to find us property. He drove from south London to east London to help us with viewings, when he could have just easily handed our case to a closer branch. The service and professionalism from him was 5 stars. If you get lucky to be matched with Shadane be sure he will not disappoint.

Avoid ..you have been warned

Over a 3 year tenancy paying £4K pm Foxtons repeatedly ignored serious maintenance issues with tree branches scraping the roof and gutters broken and overflowing. Ordinary maintenance issues always required two visits from their chosen artisan …poor landlord paying for both of course . After 2 years and 11 months they finally registered our deposit ! Booked an exit clean on Foxtons own site at £650 and paid by credit card inc vat …and now Foxtons are showing an invoice on their website booked by their agent for £854. Got all the evidence date and time stamped. Bet they play games with the deposit. You are gamed . If Foxtons are the agent then avoid the house . Simple as that

In what has been an extremely stressful and almost unprecedented time in the rental market (the demand is high and the supply is just not there!)
