GoogleI was asking for the management letting service and the tenant made my flat like a rubbish room and they never manage it! Also, commission fee charged me in advance for 2 years (the whole letting period)! And they using smaller type of the words in the contract to write it. I wish I can give zero star!

GoogleI had several experiencies with Foxtons and not one of them positive. The worst one would be when they entered the apartment without my knowledge as I were sleeping to show a possible buyer. When I got up and look at them the agent told me "Sorry, here it says the property was empty" showing me a paper of the property details. I looked at him as please leave.. and he asked me "Do you want me to leave?" And ofcourse I replied yes.. I was in my pjs... Then the property wasn't in a good state for rent and every single week since I moved someone had to come to fix something. The first week was the worst, it was really cold and the heaters weren't working, we waited for a week. When I insisted to them to send someone they told me to buy a heater in the mindtime.. I didn't have a nice experiencie and wouldn't recommend to anyone. All they look for is money... Not emphatic at all

GoogleI actually didn't intend to use Foxtons to try to rent a property at first as when I last moved house (8 years ago) their reputation was so bad. I was actually surprised to find out that the agent I was dealing with at the Tooting office, Andrew McNamara, was actually one of the nicest and most helpful of all the agents I was dealing with. He dealt with me like I was a human being who needed his help to try and find the most important thing in your life (your home) rather than someone he could make a quick buck out of through commission. I would have been happy to have rented somewhere through Foxtons because of this and only didn't end up doing so because the right property didn't come up with them at the right time. The only thing that I would say about Foxtons that was annoying and wasn't Andrew's fault at all was when other agents from other offices would try to call you up to help you as well when you already had someone looking for you. It was always a waste of time and it is always much easier just to deal with one person from one office as you are already dealing with so many agencies already. Other than that though I had a great experience with Foxtons and they were one of the 4 or so agencies I dealt with where I felt the agent really knew me personally, knew what I wanted and would go out of their way to help me find it. So a big thumbs up all round - thanks very much!

GoogleI'm a British ex pat living in Singapore and I purchased a property in Tooting Broadway in December 2015. Foxton's were incredibly helpful and took care of everything including chasing the solicitors to ensure the property completed asap - which was greatly appreciated because I had to return to Singapore before the sale completed. The purchase went down to a sealed bid and this was handled professionally without fuss. Foxton's even held onto the keys until my letting agent was ready to pick the keys up! Thank you Foxtons!

GoogleI met Andrew McNamara in Foxtons, Tooting, in my unconventional and sensitive search for a property. Within minutes of meeting him he had single-handedly restored my faith in both estate agents and human kind in general. He has continued to go above and beyond to help me; taking on the numerous challenges and needs of my property search with sheer determination. It is worth pointing out that this ethic has also been evident at managerial level. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, particularly in such a difficult situation. Thank you.

GoogleLike most of us, I have a certain perception of Foxtons and they wouldn't have been my first choice of who to buy a property through. With all that in mind though, we were very happy with how Jonathan Walugembe handled our purchase. He was always approachable and helpful, and helped to make our purchase go through quickly, speaking to both our estate agents for our sale and the solicitors on both sides to keep things moving. He was available for viewings at times that suited us and was willing to do as many as we wanted. Throughout it all, he was friendly and good humoured, even when needing to deliver difficult messages.

GoogleI had a great experience since the beginning of my relation with Foxton. Viviana, the estate agent who helped us, was exceptional from the beginning. She understood us very soon and showed us only houses fitting our needs. She helped us through the whole process, which was great considering we're first time buyers. She also constantly kept us up to date with the completion of each step and reassured us on any doubt we may have had. I couldn't have asked for anything better.

GoogleI would fully recommend the service of Foxtons, especially letting agent Hamzah Malik at the Tooting branch. He is well organised, keeps my preferences in his mind and arranges viewings very quickly and efficiently. Hamzah has a very friendly attitude towards people and doing his job with proficiency.
