I strongly advise against trusting Foxtons, as my experience with this agency has been extremely disappointing. In particular, the agent Andrea Puddu, based in the Wapping office, failed to disclose significant issues with the flat I rented. Only after moving in did I discover numerous problems that had never been mentioned during the process. When I raised these concerns, I received no meaningful support, and the situation was effectively ignored. I was left to deal with the consequences on my own. I would urge others to proceed with caution and carefully consider their options before using this agency.

Just sold my flat in St Katherine Docks. Hena Tariq and her team at Foxtons Wapping did a great job assisting me throughout the process and achieve a positive result. In a market where selling a flat can be very challenging and often takes time due to the many conveyancing pitfalls, it is essential to deal with an estate agent who is very professional, knows the local market very well and is experienced at dealing and communicating with all the parties in the transaction (buyer, seller, solicitors, management company and banks). Hena was great in all aspects and I would highly recommend her and the Foxtons team in Wapping.

Darryl is really a star. The legal formalities for the flat I was looking to purchase were a nightmare and Darryl really guided me throughout the process. BEWARE MANAGED SHORT LETS WITH FOXTONS WHETHER LANDLORD OR TENANT. We had a shocking experience with our short let overlooking St Katherine's Dock. The flat was fully managed yet we spent well over a month without a working shower and a range of reported issues went unfixed. We had issues with water that would have caused water damage for the landlord behind the shower wall due to the lack of a coordinated response for our tenancy. For £4300pcm this is an absolute joke. Lack of action, lack of responsibility and passing the buck is all I saw. Nick, dealing with our complaint offered £100 in way of compensation for our experience but fell short of taking any responsibility. When I said I'd still hold them to account in a review it was dropped. £100 for no shower for a very substantial part of our tenancy. The flat should not have been let with such major issues. I have heard bad news about Foxtons but this really took the biscuit Awful office, awful management and awful landlord. They even tried to deduct from our deposit for things we reported as broken or damaged when we moved in (Foxtons failed to manage the let and push for a repair). Disgusting. Very disappointed in Nick who heads up complaints. His role is to avoid responsibility for the firm it seems Foxtons work for their shareholders not you as a tenant or a landlord. Lack of action saw further damage to the property.

Hena Tariq and Harry Gale were amazing and always on top of everything. The communication was 5 star, they always answered or returned phone calls and emails very quickly and even helped me move the transaction forward by actively engaging with the many parties involved and the transaction was completed smoothly in 2.5 months. Also to mention there was a big difference between Foxtons’ approach and that of all other large estate agents in the area (I had previously engaged with about 5 of them) who were either not very responsive once the contract would be signed or offered inaccurate information to prospective buyers etc. I believe a big issue was that I had a bad buyer at the very beginning who dropped out with no reason and badly damaged the prospect of my ad - Hena was the only one who really took time to understand the situation and didn’t discard my property as inherently faulty (there wasn’t in fact any issue, the property was in better state than many others in the area) as seemed to be the tendency for all other estate agents. I would definitely recommend both Hena and Harry from Foxtons.
