Awful. We've been tenants of theirs for 10 years at the same property and can say this with honesty. They lost 3 sets of keys to our flat before our landlady decided to manage it herself...we weren't informed on any of those 3 occasions. Last time our tenancy was up for renewal Foxtons tried to diddle us out of an extra £100/month above what our landlady agreed....actually tried to pretend they'd made an honest mistake/typo to cover. THESE are the greedy people inflating property prices and apparently with zero shame! Edit: they tried to remove this review as fake! My landlady has thankfully decided to manage the property herself so very grateful to be finished with these incompetent people.

We are set to move in tomorrow but nothing is ready for the flat - end of tenancy clean, essential how to rent guides, keys, furniture removal - all items which were prior agreed. Adam specifically doesn’t attend calls nor respond to messages despite multiple chasers. If you are looking to buy or let, think twice! I don’t know how their reviews are at 4.4. They have their own staff adding fake reviews including Mohammed, to keep things up.

Instead you are responsible: first of all, before signing the contract, you omitted that it would be managed by third parties and not by you. Secondly you must guarantee that all parts of the contract are respected and so it has not been! You are directly responsible for your rude and aggressive agents !!! I do not recommend it to everyone. I offer my experience to advise anyone don't choose this agency. Better small agencies that care about the customer and not just the profit. We believed that Foxton was synonymous with quality we were wrong. After paying £420,00 of fee, 11/11/2017 no one came to check us in. We had to go and get the keys at the agency, only one set, when a contract was provided for two, to have the second with key box past a month. So a month without being able to check mail. The house was in the condition that you can see in the pictures. It had to be unfurnished instead it was full of furniture that we had to move us. Garbage that was not removed, we waited days for them to send someone just as they told us, and in the end it was the concierge who removed my condition after two weeks due to my pregnant condition. Since no one checked us in, we stayed 4 days at zero degrees, I was pregnant and with a child of 11 months, we also complained to Citizens Advice. And after 4 days the manager of the house came to unlock the radiators and the boiler with a tool we didn't have. In addition, the house also had the following minor problems: chandeliers without light bulbs, the leaking sink, the detached floor, non-silicone bathrooms from which animals came out at night. We made several complaints, in the end the mail, only one person helped us A.P., the rest was screwed. We also tried to pay the rent with the deduction sustained by the work we had to do, but they threatened to throw us out. Thank goodness after a year the property manager changed and things seemed to get better. They seemed, because as soon as we gave the notice, the viewings started for two months, even an agent that I hope he was fired, he wanted to do viewings every day 2/3 times a day without giving notice as foreseen by the contract, hell. Besides the photos as proofs we have all the emails and messages and we will turn to the competent organs.

We are so grateful to Andy Hoad at Foxtons, Ealing, who has been a tower of strength, dispensing wisdom based on years of experience in a calm, considered and thoughtful manner. House moves are stressful whether you are buying or selling or both and I doubt we would have got to this point with our sanity intact if it had not been for Andy's guidance. Quite frankly he has been absolutely wonderful and we would recommend him without any reservations whatsoever. He didn't put a foot wrong at any point in the whole process. Definitely worth the fee!

In few words AMAZING, STRAIGHTFORWARD & HONEST STAFF. Here is my little side story finding my new home, I have spent over two weeks with “RSK” to rent a one bed flat, after viewing a place I have submitted my offer same amount of the asking price, later on I was told landlord not responding, after chasing for two days, I was told they have received many offers and if I want to increase my chance for approval first of all need to increase my offer (offer higher than asking price) and lock yourself into 48 months break. Which I did that.. then days after days no response, then I was told the landlord decided to give the property to another letting agency. Which was complete waste of time! After all I gave up with RSK and visited Foxtons, in same day I have viewed several properties which was in area of my interest and singed my tenancy contract with an absolute zero hassle, I was also offered free transport for viewings, and beverage whilst I was in the office. Foxtons also uses one of the lead and trusted referencing agencies where all your personal/sensitive information kept safe with brilliant customer service line. Massive thank you to Adam and Danielle & Izzy (who introduced me to Foxtons)

Had a bad experience with Foxtons Ealing in Feb this year. I turned up to two viewings with the Agent to find that one of the properties had already been let by another agent. The tenant was physically in the property when we turned up - very awkward. Saw a second property and was rushed into making an offer to then be told that that property had also already been let by another agent when I had viewed it. Obviously, they're not very on top of their admin. I then made an offer for a different property which was accepted, paid the deposit and months rent in advance, signed the contract was given a move in date to then be told a couple of weeks before my move-in date that the landlord had pulled out. They gave me my money back quickly and were very apologetic, at least. I ended up getting a property through a different estate agent with no issues at all. Attempting to go through Foxtons turned out to be a waste of my time. I got the impression that they rush everything from advertising properties, getting potential tenants to make offers and getting landlords to accept said offers with none of the parties being 100% happy. They were very nice people but clearly not very organised/competent.

As many may be able to attest, searching for a rental property in London is a harrowing experience. To add on to that, this was the first rental we were moving into. To say that the process was confusing is to understate the chaos we were in, but where other agents and agencies were poor in their communication and response, Chris from Foxtons swooped in to save the day. There were many positives in our experience with Chris, but the one that I wanted to highlight was that he was always available to speedily answer any and all queries we had regarding the rental process and he gave clear, measured advice that actually aligned with our home requirements. This was a refreshing change of pace from other agencies. Chris really made it feel like we were his only customers during our search process which is testament to his amazing efficiency at work. And to top it all off he was a pleasure to interact with to.
