GoogleMy experience with Foxtons has been the worst I have ever had and here I explain why:
Some friends and I rented a house with this agency thinking it was a good one, however from minute one we realized that it was not.
Since the beginning we realized that we had made a mistake renting a house with this agency. The day we moved in, the house was still dirty, with stuff from the old tenants, etc. so we complained to the agency, so that they could came to get all those things, which took months to come and collect.
Soon after, the whole problem of the pandemic began, which made things even worse. Most of us lost our jobs, and one of the people who lived with us left the house without saying anything to us but to the agency, which let her go without problem, making the rest of us responsible of everything.
With the whole problem of the pandemic, we were supposed to try to make an agreement with them, which with Foxton´s was completely impossible. For us it was a year of extra stress, a year of trying every single day to reach an agreement that would benefit us both, an agreement that never came.
With all this I want to say that I would never rent with this agency again, apart from not recommending it to anyone!

GoogleThere is almost no communication with property manager who is always either in the meeting or out of office and even if she replies back every now and then, the property manager does not know what is happening in the flat and is unable to answer questions. Managers don’t answer as well. Horrible experience.

GoogleDo not give your keys to them if you are a landlord. The property manager, at Baltimore Wharf, where my apartment is, informed Foxtons of a leak in the ceiling on January 5th. It took them 4 months to get it fixed, even though the "Full Management" service states that they have access to 24hr contractors. During the 4 month delay a small leak became a flood and caused £10,000 worth of damage. They refuse to acknowledge any responsibility and treat me like dirt after 10 years of charging me above average fees. I have now given up dealing with their uncaring staff and am taking legal action, and looking for a more professional letting agency.

GoogleI had an awful experience with Foxtons.
I rented a property with them for nearly 5 years, after being informed that I needed to pay £600 per month by my landlord or else move out. I agreed to move out and the process of the return of my deposit was terrible.
I was presented with deductions of nearly £450, which I didn't agree with. I presented my evidence on MY FOXTONS but their system would not process when I disagreed with the deductions. However, to my surprise their system miraculously processed when I agreed to a deduction for extra day rent.
I have emailed, called but nobody came back to me. Finally, when I threatened to make a formal complain, someone replied to me requesting I request my deposit via MY DEPOSITS.
They refused to process the refund of the part of my deposit, that wasn't in dispute and I had to provide all the evidence to initiate a dispute. Worse, 2 months down the line I still haven't received a penny.
Avoid this company ripping off tenants!

GoogleI have known about FOXTON’S in London and what they offer before I got engaged with them. I trusted them. I had dealings with different staff - Dan, Luke, Hayden and Carlos and I have nothing negative to say about any of them but praises for their support and professionalism. Lately Charles Okwuosa came into the picture (concierge services) and he was superb, efficient and promptly delivered all I needed. Overall I’ll do business with them again when the need arises.

GoogleMy experience with Foxtons as a first time buyer has been absolutely horrible. After a lot of searching around we finally reserved a property in hounslow by the builder bath road homes Ltd, the agents name was Siyana. After reservation, we went on to complete all formalities. Applied for help to buy and also had it approved. We were now in process of applying for the mortgage. And it was then that I get a call from Foxtons that the reservation is being pulled back saying the seller found another person who has offer a higher sum. And this call comes from the manager of Siyana. I didn’t even receive a single call from Siyana. And the funny part is that this property is still on the market. We were put through the whole process of buying this property and then told we can’t have it. As a first time buyer, this is soo discouraging. Never go to Foxtons if you’re a first time buyer especially. You won’t be looked after.

GoogleRude and unprofessional.
Foxtons should put more friendly people at receptions in the branches, and they should audit the calls of their "sales" agents. This isn't the first time I've had bad customer service from this agency but today I received a call from Zayd from the Chiswick office and I understand even more why everyone I know hates Foxtons. He was rude, unprofessional and incredibly pushy... basically lived up to the agency's reputation.
Go invest your money elsewhere people, if these agents can't be friendly in the early stages of the sale imagine what it would be like if they managed your property.....

GoogleMy experience renting a flat from foxtons was great. Thanks to Saijal and Usman who had done renting process very quickly. They were very Friendly and Responsive. I managed to find a flat in one viewing and the renting process was done very quickly by saijal. I had an excellent experience with saijal. I would highly recommend foxtons.

GoogleWe're being repeatedly harassed by Foxtons to give 'feedback' on a few properties we've seen recently. We expressed our feelings on the day of the viewing and said to the women who showed us around that we were in no position to make any brash decisions. I explained that we would be in touch IF we wanted to take things further. We have not been left alone since, even though I have made it very clear that we do not wish to be contacted any more. I've had to block the number I'm getting so many calls from them. It's utterly disrespectful behavior and has shown us how little they care about anything but their commission. Avoiding Foxtons at all costs from here forward.

GoogleI have rented my property with Foxtons and had the worst experience in 20+ years of being a landlord. They did very few initial checks on the tenant and the support team let me down not once but twice when he stopped paying rent and I needed their help. They turned a bad experience into a nightmare with zero contact, zero support and zero culpability. I would not advise anyone to use them.

GoogleReview for Charles Okwuosa who is part of Foxtons Concierge Service. Charles was professional, responsive and helpful in sourcing help and services for various jobs we needed for our new flat. He follows up and follows through. A true service oriented professional.

GoogleI was employed by Foxtons for a while.
I was involved a car accident that was not my fault (a van rear ended my car while I was stopped at the traffic light).
Foxtons fleet department charged me £600 for that and I still haven't been refunded even though they said they would.
It's been over 2 years since I left the company.
And they confirmed it was not my fault
Avoid this company at all costs

GoogleReally what a joke.
I would have been honored to work for one of London's most reputable estate agents, but they just turned out to be timewasters.
First application, had a brief phone interview , passed it and made an appointment for a longer and more detailed one, but the call never arrived !
Second application, I had a specific request for a suitable time to call me, I said any day after 3 pm as I will be at work until then but also this call never came.
Let me give you a friendly advice, when you find your ideal candidate , have the good manners to inform those waiting for this famous phone interview !
