Ben at Foxton's assisted my wife and I in finding a short term let while we both are on leave from work in the US. While we ended up making alternate arrangements, Ben was actively searching for flats that would meet our very strict guidelines. He was in constant communication with me and respectful of the time zone difference. I would highly recommend Ben if you are looking for a flat in London. He is an agent that listens to his clients needs and goes far and beyond what is needed.

I got in touch with Foxtons just before moving to London from Germany and set up a a time to chat with Ben. I was expecting to just sit down and look at a couple of online listings with him, but Ben promptly put me in his car and took the time to drive me to three different properties that fit the requirements and budget I had initially described to him. I put in an offer the same day and had confirmation that I had an apartment the next day. Ben was very friendly and helpful throughout the process and I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking to rent in the West London area.

I got in touch with Harriet whilst I was still in Australia and she took my details and said she'd get in touch once I'd landed. Many agents at other agencies said they would do this, but Harriet was the only one who kept her word. We went out and looked at a range of options in the area I was interested in, and once I'd found the perfect flat for me, Harriet helped me with all the paperwork and processes and helped me meet the landlord which was great. This was especially appreciated as I'm new to living in the UK and don't have a history or experience here. All went well and I'm very grateful for getting so quickly set up in my new flat. Harriet was lovely to deal with throughout and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for help in the area. Thank you Harriet and the team at Notting Hill Gate.

They provided an excellent service. Our short term letting agent, Ben Whittle, was amazing. He answered all our communications politely and promptly (massive thing when looking for a new abode). He spent the right amount of time getting to know us and what our needs and expectations were. Additionally, his patience in ferrying us around to various properties was great. Plus Foxtons give you a free bottle of water for every office :) Jokes aside Ben was awesome and a great ambassador for the Foxtons' brand.

Foxtons Notting Hill is the best real estate agency I’ve ever dealt with! Phenomenal service from Ieva - friendly, efficient, knowledgeable ... I can’t fault her. Ieva took our wish list into consideration and showed us a variety of properties, she helped educate us on the process over here (we have relocated from Australia) and she also gave us some helpful information on the suburbs when we were between viewings. She made the whole letting process a real joy actually.

I saw a property in Bayswater advertised for £900,000. I made an offer but this price was rejected and I agreed to pay the advertising price of 900,000. I started looking for a lender and solicitor, and when I finally got everything arranged they sent me a message saying that the seller doesn’t want to sell the property anymore. I don’t like Foxtons to make me waste my time. I think it’s absolutely unprofessional. Buyers deserve respect. What I’ve learnt about this whole experience is that despite the property is announced for a certain price they can perfectly change the conditions in the middle of the purchase process. Not to be trusted.

I had the pleasure to be helped by Harriet Murphy, at Foxtons, and I have nothing but great things to say. The calls were very friendly yet to the point, and ensured that prior to the viewings I knew exactly what had to be done in order to maximise our time. The viewings themselves were also very pleasant. Harriet knew a lot about each property, and managed to show me other great properties that matched my interest. The viewings were well planned, and thus quick, while not lacking a personal touch. The pro's and cons of each property were openly discussed which really helped to find my priorities when it comes to housing. All in all, nothing but great things to say. I dealt with Danielle Toland of the Foxtons Notting Hill branch in procuring a tenant for a flat in Holland Park. I cannot say enough about her effort and the manner in which she pursued her task. She was communicative and clear in all her dealings with me. She presented only well screened prospective tenants and in a market full of similar properties was able to still get me offers at the asking price she had suggested we market the property at. Through several stumbling blocks she was entirely efficient and did not once lead me on or pressurise me to compromise. It took three prospective offers before we were able to secure a tenancy and from start to finish Danielle was not only thorough and willing but also entirely understanding and best of all, in full good humour. Danielle Toland comes with my full endorsement, a professional who is a pleasure to deal with.

Always available on the other end of the phone, efficient, professional and well mannered. At all times I felt he did his hardest to strike a good deal for myself and the tenant. As an active listener, she has been a real pleasure to discuss with. The renting process has been smooth and clear. I highly recommend Foxtons for its professionalism, responsiveness and client experience. 👍🏼" Indeed, the process was clear and the team was responsive. But when it came to moving out the entire communication and process became very chaotic. The point of contact kept changing, it took them almost 1 year to send our deposit back (even though we claimed for it within the requested laps time), they didn't check on the property after the cleaner came , which cost us an extra 375£ of cleaning services. (we had to give the keys back before the cleaner arrived so we couldn't do it ourselves). In short FOLLOW UP WITH THEM AND CHASE THEM or you will have to pay for their lack of professionalism.NegativeQuality, Professionalism

The property management team has been continuously ignorant of any issues raised (which there have been plenty), not to mention the lack of care taken towards the apartment in the first place. There were maintenance issues apparent when we arrived, and we made the property manager aware of them. In addition, a previously cracked window had completely shattered and no one gave any attention to this. A broken window on glass carpet, not to mention in the dead of winter, and the property managers did not even bother to tell the landlord herself. After two months, we still had not received a response, to any email, phone call, posting, etc. Now, almost at the end of the lease, more serious issues have come up and no surprise: NO ACTION. This team is unprofessional, inconsiderate, and completely off the grid. I would highly suggest staying away from this business if possible. Save yourself the headache!

When I started my flat search a few weeks ago, I was so convinced that Foxtons Notting Hill was going to be THE one helping me based on how beautiful their website is, the great first impression they give, etc. To my HUGE surprise, the agent that got my enquiries, was never available, very dry, unhelpful, and even defensive in his answers, when there were answers which was basically 2/10 times, to the point that I gave up and moved on to find another real estate agency in the neighborhood. To add to the lack of interest, proactivity, or even reactivity as it has been like trying to work with a cactus, don't trust what you see on the website... the postings look beautiful but reality is VERY different, and most of the times they don't put down flats that were let weeks ago, so it's a waste of time for everyone. Overall, I'm sad to say that this office or better said this agent, jorge balcalceres, has been very disappointing, completely uninterested in interacting, giving a good service, or at least answer. Whether you are looking for your new home in person or from abroad, you need some support, good customer service, and, at least, good manners. Maybe, Foxtons as a company don't give them commissions, hence the disengagement? Every other agency is superbusy too and yet they do a great job. I really hope my next experience with another agent will be different, so I can update this review.

Honest and Frustrating Experience with Foxtons Property Management Notting Hill For the past few years, I used Foxtons Property Management in Notting Hill as a landlord living abroad. While I understand the value a good property management company can bring, unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. 1. Issues with Property Maintenance and Communication: Upon visiting the property myself, I discovered significant issues like humidity, mold on walls, balcony leaks, and rusty bathroom pipes. The periodic inventory surveys did not highlight the need for urgent interventions to fix these crucial maintenance problems. Despite the flat's condition, Foxtons seemed ready to re-rent it immediately. This would have undoubtedly led to a dissatisfied tenant, likely explaining the recent tenant turnover. Focusing solely on filling the flat seemed to overshadow the importance of maintaining the property and tenant satisfaction. Due to the neglected repairs, the flat needed to be taken off the market for several weeks. Communication with my property manager was slow and unreliable. E-mails often took days for a response, were sometimes mixed up, or not answered at all. 2. High Repair Costs and Unreturned Deposit: Foxtons stopped providing comparative quotes for repairs, presenting only a single, often significantly overpriced option. This lack of transparency made me feel they prioritized convenience over cost-effectiveness for the landlord. As we speak, I'm still waiting for the tenant's deposit return. Foxtons mentioned attempting negotiation, but their approach seems to have been not effective, leaving me still waiting and frustrated. Overall, being a landlord living abroad seeking a property management agency that prioritizes property care, tenant well-being, fair repair costs, and responsive communication, Foxtons wasn't the right fit for my needs. Please note: This review focuses on my experience only and represents my personal point of view.
