GoogleI was looking for a rental and in the end I didn’t make one, but I wanted to give some feedback to help others. If you look for a short term rental, be a little bit careful what you accept. They will probably tell you they don’t do viewings on short term rentals, and it’s “like airbnb”. Well, it’s not really like Airbnb because there’s no feedback system. They are free to sell you in whatever manner they wish in order to make a sale, and once they have your money there’s not a lot you can do. They will tell you that the flat is in good condition, but they won’t guarantee it at all. Behind the scenes, there is a foxtons branch that has the keys and then there is the rep that wants to make the sale, who might be at a different branch. You will have a better chance of seeing the place before renting if you go to the closest branch. Otherwise the rep might not want to make the trip. So, by all means rent from Foxtons but do your homework and remember it’s not “like airbnb”.

GoogleAll good and well when you are looking for a flat but they are very rude and unprofessional the second you sign your contract. I did not get replies for weeks on end, my washing machine was flooding my kitchen, my kitchen sink was clogged due to faulty pipes and nothing was done for more than 2 months, until I outlined that they were in breach of contract. Today they did a viewing of my flat for the next tenant, not only was I not present but I wasn't given my 24hour notice... nor was I even asked!! All I got was a ONE HOUR warning... Absolutely despicable service, do NOT go with Foxtons. Especially if you are a student as they will try to rip you off with your upfront payment too, know your rights!

So in case you need an accomodation in London, push the door at Foxtons Pimlico and ask for Liam. You will not be disappointed because he will deliver faster than you even expected.

GoogleI have used Foxtons from the moment I became a first time landlord 12 years ago. I know other landlords who have had indifferent experiences with their letting agent but I can honestly say that I have never experienced any issues with Foxtons. Foxtons have dealt with all issues in respect of the property and offered advice and guidance when asked. My property has been let without any void periods in 12 years. I was once intending to do a full refurb of the property and was advised against it by Foxtons as they felt it not necessary or likely to increase the rental income. Instead we refreshed the place costing a few hundred pounds and have secured a 3 year let with no break clause at the asking price. Foxtons staff are always very professional when I have contacted them and I have no hesitation in recommending Foxton's letting service to anyone.

GoogleWe had the pleasure to book a viewing with Amelia Watts-Jones, who took us around the entire area and introduced us to this lovely region of London. Amelia took a lot of time to accommodate all our wishes and was also very courteous in addressing all our concerns! We felt very well treated and enjoyed the properties Amelia showed to us! We would definitely recommend to contact Amelia, it was very convenient (both on the phone to prepare the viewings and the tour itself)

GoogleI recently rented an apartment with the "amazing" Amelia Watts-Jones - literally upon arrival to London. We had other agents lined up that simply didn't deliver expectations nor really understood what it was I wanted. By chance we walked into Foxtons Pimlico and were greeted by Amelia and within 24 hours had already viewed several units of interest. Amelia knew exactly what she was doing and couldn't have been better. In my case time was of essence so a decision needed to be made quickly and without a doubt she and her team got the job done. Highly recommend If you are in the area to seek her out. Well done Amelia + Foxtons

GoogleExcellent. We bought a flat and the photos and description corresponded perfectly with the reality. Very efficient and friendly team with queries answered immediately and in a professional manner. The Senior Sales Negotiator, Gillian McCurrach, ensured that the whole process was quick and hassle free liaising with our solicitor to answer questions, resolve any issues and was key in giving us advice about the area, unknown to us, and checking up on the flat before sale completion and even after upon our request. We cannot speak highly enough of her and Foxtons in general including the lettings department. Their website easy to use and gives all updated details about property visits, documents etc.

GoogleAbsolutely horrified at this branch of Foxtons and their procedures. My partner is 6 months pregnant. Despite being informed and frequently agreeing to visits from new potential tenants, Foxtons acted disgracefully in visiting the premises with NO notice. Where notice was given permission was always granted. Despite this, they still took advantage and turned up when it suited them. Had my partner not been at home on one of the days by chance we would never have known about these secret visits. We began monitoring this closely and can recite at least 5 occasions the flat was accessed without her knowledge. When discussed with the office the treatment towards her was disgusting and I would strongly recommend people are not sold on the brand name. Horrific customer service. Disgraceful treatment of a pregnant lady. Invasion of privacy. I hope you got your commission.

GoogleCamilio V showed me some very good properties to rent in the area. However, once we agreed on the deal, that’s when the problems began. They have policies that are extremely disadvantageous to the tenant, even more than any other estate agent. As a tenant I believe that there are other agents and companies that are trying to reform the renting experience. I wouldn’t recommend them.
