One of the worst property management experiences I’ve had. Foxtons were aware for months that a tenancy no longer reflected the actual occupation of the property, yet failed to take meaningful action to resolve it. Despite repeated contact, the situation was allowed to drift, leaving a former tenant exposed to ongoing legal liability due solely to Foxtons’ delay and lack of competence. Communication was poor, escalation was resisted, and responsibility was repeatedly avoided. The approach felt driven by convenience rather than duty of care or proper tenancy management. This situation should never have been allowed to continue for as long as it did. I would not recommend Foxtons to anyone who values professionalism, accountability, or basic efficiency.

Nightmare from start to finish. Had a boiler that didn't work during the winter. They sent out the same contractor THIRTEEN times before they asked another to attend. The second tried their best, left us with portable heaters (the agents did not offer us this even once during the 7 weeks we had no hot water or heating from early Feb onwards) they wouldn't come out a second time because it wasn't worth the hassle and it needed replacing. The third contractor finally said the boiler needed replacing because it was cheap. During all this, I had a horrific mold situation begin in my bedroom from the damp and cold in the flat. It was black and green and in 3 corners of my room. It was spread over a large area of every corner. The new boiler was installed incorrectly and there was a gas leak. They fixed it but it was a ridiculous situation. We obviously chose to leave the flat when it was possible. When they showed people round the flat, they would go into my bedroom (where the dehumudifier was on and they gave us no further info about when the mold would be sorted) and told the viewers that the mold would be gone by the time they moved in. Why wasn't it fixed this quickly while we were living there?? Lastly, it was a battle to get the deposit back because the landlord stopped communicating. Only when I got my MP involved did it suddenly become available and it was claimed it was never kept back in the first place. There was so many issues with this team at Streatham foxtons that I would never, ever rent or buy from them. They were dishonest and just did not seem to care about their tenants.

Foxtons (Kevin) delivered. An asking price sale in ~3 months from listing to completion. Their fees are higher than others, but it was justified after the frustrating experiences I had with 2 other estate agents. First, they've a decent portal for managing your sale. So you can see viewing feedback etc and what you need to provide. Then, Summer also kept me informed during viewings. Taking time to understand the context and details. Tee'ing up the sale well. From there, there was a bit in the middle where communication between the solicitors fell off. But in the end, Kevin stepped back in to coordinate and drove the solicitors towards completion. Overall, I'm very thankful and satisfied!

Our agent Dominique was a mess from the start. Firstly, he failed to show up for the viewing we had. The most shocking thing was when we signed our tenancy, he shortly after requested we sign a new one as he spelt the landlord’s name wrong. However when he resent the agreement the name wasn’t changed but the length of the agreement went from 2 years to 3 to try and lock us in for longer. Also, the house wasn’t cleaned professionally. Poor communication and no accountability for his actions.

Amazing experience at Foxton's Streatham, Shout out to Nailah Cave, who was so patient and kind during such a stressful time! They made sure I was calm and kept me in the loop at all times, really friendly and professional service. I picked up my keys yesterday (got a free bottle of water, standard) and everything has gone so smoothly. Having all the stuff on MyFoxtons portal makes all the paperwork so much easier to complete - even though there's loads of it when you're moving, at least you know exactly what you need to fill in and feel sure you've completed everything you need to when it's all ticked off. 10/10

My son bought his first ever flat through Liz Thomas at Foxtons. We met with many different estate agents through his search but professionally, Liz towered head and shoulders above anyone else. After a line up of viewings day 1 she had clear idea of what my son wanted so no time wasted on higher priced or unsuitable flats. Liz’s communication was exceptional. She was totally intuitive, extremely patient and happy to go through granular detail so my son was very clear on ever stage of the purchase and remained’ on it ‘ at every step of the way. My son’s situation was complicated ( he’s out of the country a lot ) so Liz made sure we were all aware of any unexpected development so they could be quickly dealt with. But to be honest the best thing about dealing with Liz is the fact she’s an extremely lovely, straight forward, straight talking lady who completely understands the stress everyone ( on all sides ) is going through and she goes out of her way to make things as smooth as possible. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Around 7pm near Streatham Station, I witnessed extremely dangerous driving from one of this company’s branded Mini cars. The driver’s conduct was shockingly reckless, swerving, speeding, almost hitting another car and showing no regard for other road users. This behaviour reflects extremely poorly on the business and raises serious questions about the standards they expect from their staff when representing the company in public. No one should be allowed to drive in such an irresponsible and dangerous way.

As a first time buyer, my experience with Foxtons Streatham, specifically their estate agent Gary Cooper was one of the most valuable experiences I could have had during my property search. Coming into the process with very little knowledge, Gary was more than willing to fill in the gaps. He was professional, pro-active and genuinely cared about my search - which was a welcome relief compared to others. Even though we didn't end up buying through Foxtons, Gary has made a lasting impression - setting a high standard of service you would struggle to find anywhere else.

No joke - I had a meeting with an agent Rene Maxwell in November 2022 who then kidnapped myself in her car. I really did not want with her in the car but she lured me falsely with the offer to give transport back to her office to get me to sign some non-offer letter which Rene said that was non-binding. What happened next is next day I receive a call from manager who said that Rene left. And what I signed was binding.

Joanna was amazing and really on the case, incredible optimism when showing people round our house and at a time when it seemed like the market was really bad - people pulling out of offers, she kept going and we sold our house fairly quickly after being on the market with another estate agent unsuccessfully, Dinishka was also really positive and his initial consultation about selling the house made him come across as straight forward and trustable, he also put in effort advertising the house and communicating with us and potential buyers too, Thank you Foxtons Streatham, we are happily settled into our new property
