Jamal really went above and beyond. He truly cared and listened to what we were looking for in a home. After several showings, Jamal was able to tailor his search to our feedback, resulting in us finding a great place. As is common on London rentals, we were in a bidding war for our apartment. Jamal gave great advice on what it would take to secure the lease, and we were successful in our bidding process. 10/10 would recommend.

We initially went with another estate agent, but after a poor performance and hardly any viewings we switched to Foxtons and Oliver made all the difference, he brought a couple of clients in and within 2 weeks we had an offer which we happily excepted. When things then dragged on due to slow responses from the buyer's solicitor, Oliver managed the process and helped us to get this over the line in due course by chasing. He is very determined to make his deals a success for everyone. I can highly recommend Oliver and we will surely use him again in the future.

As an international student trying to find a place to rent in London for the first time I could not have had a better experience with Foxtons and especially with Jamal. Very good service from Jamal at Foxtons helping us renting our property. He did a good job in finding a deal that worked for both parties and was there when needed to push/chase the third party reference provider to ensure we could secure the property rapidly. Jamal has been super responsive when needed including late evenings and weekends. We also appreciated that Jamal was on time for all appointments (not always a given with estate agents in our experience).

3 separate viewings arranged and 3 phone calls at the time of viewing once I’d already travelled there to say “oh we can’t get access” “oh it was sold last week” “oh I can’t show it to you today”. Once is a mistake, three times is a choice to not bother contacting me. Camden Foxtons is a mess and could not care less about my time. I’d give 0 stars.

Hamed was wonderful with our sale. He was great at communicating every step of the way, and when we ran into some problems with new mortgage regulations he was extremely helpful and proactive in finding a solution. These new mortgage regulations meant we needed some extra information that were not provided by our leaseholder but Hamed put together a pack of information that the lenders were happy to accept in the end. He was also extremely knowledgeable when a large amount of funds was held up on an international transfer and was on call throughout the weekend to update on this. It was not a straightforward sale and we got there in the end with his help. Thank you Hamed!!!

I can't praise Sam Burkesmith highly enough. Even though I was a buyer rather than his client, he bent over backwards to help deal with incompetent, inefficient conveyancing, helping to keep things moving even when he was on holiday. I was really disappointed by my experience with Foxtons. My agent made inappropriate comments towards me -- which I imagine he wouldn't have if I was an older woman or a man of any age, consistently showed me properties outside my budget constraints and my location constraints, effectively wasting 4 hours of time during a workday to no effective end. All style and zero substance honestly I'd rather you skipped the fancy car and did a better job of listening.

Foxtons conduct was dishonest and unprofessional from start to finish. They initially stood out by offering a much higher valuation for my property than any other local agent on Parkway. When I questioned this, they confidently reassured me and promised weekly updates, persuading me to sign a 12-week exclusivity agreement (reduced from their standard 16 weeks). Despite a higher commission compared to other agents, I was sold. As soon as I signed, they became unresponsive. For three weeks, my emails, calls, and voicemails went unanswered. When they finally contacted me, they falsely claimed a missing document and lack of property access, despite both having been provided on day 1 face to face. My clarifications were ignored, and another two weeks of silence followed. Six weeks after listing, they finally called to say there had been zero inquiries and suggested dropping the price by £75,000, exactly in line with the original valuations from other agencies. It became clear they had deliberately inflated the price to win my business. When I raised the issue of their lack of communication, they falsely claimed they had called weekly. I asked to terminate the agreement, but they wrongly insisted I was locked in for the full 12 weeks plus a further 4-week notice period. I asked for a copy of the agreement, which they had failed to provide initially. It confirmed I could cancel after four weeks with 28 days’ notice. I served written notice immediately, citing mis-selling and zero communication, and requested written acknowledgment, which they predictably ignored until I chased them again by phone. Whilst I cannot speak for their rental or buying services, I strongly advise sellers to avoid Foxtons Camden. A company that knowingly lies to get your business should not be allowed to operate without consequences.
