I had a great experience with Felicity J Lord, everyone in the office was very kind and helpful throughout, and Sarah Kelsey especially went above and beyond to ensure that everything went smoothly for me. I really appreciated the lack of extortionate agency fees and the personal service from Sarah Kelsey , who was always happy to answer questions, happy to solve any problems and make everything easy for me to collect the keys !! I had a few rental income issues with…

I had a few rental income issues with my property through felicity J Lord. For the last two years i tried on many occasions to resolve the matter only to be told the person I needed to speak to wasn't available but they would ring me back, which she never did. This was very frustrating as the issue only got bigger as the months went on. Then one day when I rang the office I was speaking to a young lady I hadn't previously spoken to, her name is Rebecca mcgarry. Rebecca was a ray of sunshine and from day one looked into and resolved this matter within a few weeks. I cannot praise her helpfulness and professionalism highly enough. I was on the verge of taking legal action and distancing myself permanently from this company, through the fault of only two employees who simply didn't care about or listen to my issue. Rebecca has changed all that she was always at the end of the phone for me, kept me updated regularly by email and left me assured. I would like to say the biggest thank you to Rebecca for all she has done, and hope her company knows what an asset they have in her.

Productive, friendly property visit

We’ve been living in our new flat since November and last week we had our first house inspection. Jean Piper (one of the property managers at Felicity J Lord) came by to look through the apartment and ask about any issues that need resolving. She was great to chat with & took note of the few items that needed fixing - and promptly got back to us with a couple of documents that we required related to the property, while also getting in touch with the landlord about the required fixes. All in all it was a very smooth visit and Jean was really helpful and personable.

Really positive house viewing

Called after seeing a flat on Rightmove being listed for this company. Eduard Diac was waiting for me downstairs and made me feel extremely at ease with a big smile and relaxed yet professional air.Whilst walking around the flat, he described all the key parts, was able to provide some market knowledge about other property within the area and more importantly, overall guidance on what to expect as a first time buyer that reassured me I was in safe hands.Unfortunately, the area itself wasn't for me but the flat was beautiful and I'm sure Eduard will be able to make the buyer and seller extremely happy.Writing this review as I was incredibly impressed (visited five houses that day - 3 were soso agents one was a random 'warm body' as she described herself to show me the place).

Appalling communication and lack of clarity. Avoid them!

Avoid as much as you can. Wish I knew about Felicity J Lord reputation at the beginning of a painful sales process. Tried to sell my house since February 25. Apparently, they've found a prospective buyer in March but it had taken approximately 10 months and nothing has had happened. Their method in dealing with clients entails no transparency and we, in fact, are unaware what exactly is happening.Every single contact, when it happens, the information provided is different to confuse you even more. They have kept me waiting for exchange/completion, promising that we, as sellers, were "almost there" month after month. And this "there" has never happened. Waste of time, money and hope. Don't ever deal with them!!! They will stress you out with empty promises to boost their sales profile.

Fantastic customer experience

It was the first time we were renting out a flat in the UK and we were a little anxious as we were on a tight timeline without much knowledge of the market. Charlotte has been absolutely amazing to deal with. She provided deep local market knowledge of the Farringdon rental market, was very responsive and solution focused and also very patient in explaining to us the basics of letting in London. We felt very well looked after and managed to find some amazing tenants for our flat within less than a week! Definitely recommend FJL and especially Charlotte De Carli from the Farringdon branch to others.

Jackpot!

I had been looking for a new place for a while and no luck. When I went into Felicity J Lord it was the end of the working day, all computers shut down, few staff still around but nonetheless they welcomed me inside and took down my search. Mimi was an absolute ray of sunshine!! She had all her stuff ready to go home but she stayed, listened and really made an effort to understand what I was looking for in a new home. It is hard finding realtors in London that really make an effort into seeing what is best for you, but I felt like I hit jackpot with Mimi! The next day I was contacted and within two I had found a place more than perfect to move in :) I highly recommend Felicity J Lord for their quality in properties, effort, and professionalism!

We have been dealing with Charlotte De Carli in the Clerkenwell office to rent out our two properties in the area for about four years now, and have always found her to be helpful, proactive, efficient, intelligent and thorough - and critically, cheerful! Bilal was amazing

After being let down by a another agent a week before our move in date we contacted Felicity J Lord and were in touch with Bilal. Absolute 1st class service. He had a suitable property there for us. Within an hour of viewing the property we placed an offer which was accepted. From the beginning all the way to moving in. There was no stress involved and Bilal made sure of that. Always responsive, always helping us. If it wasn’t for Bilal’s help. I fear we would of been homeless due our previous agent who did not care. Long process, but very happy with customer service

We had just started to look for a flat to rent in London as we were moving down (from the North) 2 months later for my wife's new job. Although we weren't initially expecting to find a great place, we found one in Hackney on our second day. Annabel at Felicity J Lord was the agent who met us and (after we decided to put an offer on the place) was our contact throughout the rest of the rental process. The process itself ended up taking a very long time, in part due to the lengthy credit check (which is undertaken by a separate company, Homelet), and partly because I had some concerns about the contract. There were also some delays due to the landlord's own moving out date being changed - so collectively the process was long and a bit stressful. However, Annabel was really great at replying to our messages in a timely manner, and acting as a liaison between ourselves and the landlord. My only real complaint with Felicity J Lord is about the contract language for renters; the wording is written in a way that often suggests too much liability for the renters. When I asked about these particular points in the contract, Annabel was able to find out the details and reply to confirm the exact meanings - which was very helpful in terms of assuaging our worries. Other than direct emails or calls with the agent, the process (including initial payments and referencing) happens almost entirely through web platforms. The web platforms are relatively straightforward but it's possible that they helped contribute somewhat to some of the delays that were experienced throughout the referencing and setup process - things that might have been sorted quicker via direct email. Overall however we had a positive experience, in particular with Annabel our letting agent.

Felicity J Lord and in particular Charlotte De Carli at Goswell Road branch Islington have been in charge of finding me tenants for three years now. The overall experience has been superb. It's not just about finding the best rents but as a landlord there is so much back and forth going on that I sometimes need a quick response. Felicity J Lord Blackheath was…a godsend, at a stressful time of tenant changeover

Felicity J Lord Blackheath was extremely helpful as always, and particularly now when I needed it, Lisa was amazing. She always explains things and gives me the best advice. I guess in the end it comes down to trust. As a landlord, I have already been with FJ Lord several years but not on my second flat, which I was transferring from being a furnished let to unfurnished, after 16 years! I had also always managed it myself but it’s a big flat and I finally decided to get help. Lisa was great. Justyna is also a real asset in the office and Christine gets things running smoothly. Scott got me the tenant very quickly, so all in all I just highly recommend them to any landlord. PS My old tenant who was lovely but decided to move in with her boyfriend, met Lisa, liked her, and Lisa helped her and her boyfriend find a flat through FJ Lord Greenwich! So a win for landlord and tenant!

Management and sale of flat from overseas

When I relocated overseas for work, I was initially hesitant about leaving the management of the flat to an agent, however, I needn't have worried.Carl Gunn dealt with all matters quickly and professionally. Highly recommend asking for him if you can! When it came to selling the flat from the other side of the world, Gurmukh and his team were fantastic. We just recently moved into a flat in Bow and Felicity J Lord helped the whole process run very smoothly and we can't thank them enough! It is our first rental in London so we did need a lot of explanation about the ins and outs but our estate agent Bilal was always on hand to answer any queries or address any concerns we had. He always went above and beyond to help with our move-in. For example when we called him to report that one of our keys wasn't working, he came round personally to drop one off 15 minutes later.I strongly recommend renting through FJ Lord to anyone moving to the areas they cover.

I thought all agents were the same until I met Bilal.

So Im moving down from Ireland to London soon. I wanted to come down to London with my partner to view some properties. I made a whole two days just for viewings with 10 estate agents. I viewed one property with Bilal at Bow Quarter. I must say his customer service was the best out of all the agents I met. Every question I had he always had the answers and made us very comfortable. A really lovely guy and made us laugh A LOT. Unfortunately the flat was too small for us but I will never forget the whole process with Bilal through booking a viewing to meeting us and showing us the property. Daniel Bourne in FJL Maintenance Team

We’ve rented our flat through FJL for two year and they’ve always acted promptly when we’ve needed help. We woke up revelry to hear water pouring though the ceiling in our lounge and flowing out through our fuse box. We called to report the fault and Daniel was absolutely on it from the word go. My partner and I both have jobs where it’s difficult to make time to worth these things out but Daniel took care of everything for us, organising an electrician and chasing building management to have the roof looked at. It’s great to know there’s someone looking after your needs when your unable to do it due to outside restrictions.
