If I could give more than five stars, I would. I bought through Felicity J Lord Shad Thames in 2015 and have just sold in 2023 through them again. They are very market-savvy and experts in the area. In a difficult market, they managed to get a very competitive offer for my property, and were hugely supportive the whole way - before putting the property on the market, whilst marketing it and doing viewings, and all the way through the sale process. Gemma at Shad Thames is just amazing. After struggling to find a flat for our son for a month we found her. She was fantastic to work with throughout the whole process. We were not able to attend a viewing in person. Gemma took a lot of videos of the flat and area and provide details of everything. She was informative, efficient and went above and beyond to help us. Considering that we were overseas during the whole process, we were quite nervous about everything. Gemma helped us step-by-step, made sure that we knew what to expect, and offered expert advice. She is patient and kind and was always on it! She always took or returned our calls and answered every question. Gemma was great to work with and I will definitely recommend Gemma to anyone in the need of an agent. She is phenomenal and we can’t wait to meet her in person. Gemma Bond has been helping me to enter into a new tenancy agreement recently. She has been advising me on getting various things in the flat fixed up between tenants - and has been actively helping to find good value for money in the contractors employed. She has skilfully worked to terminate the old tenancy and get a new tenant in as soon as possible, while ensuring that the tenancy payments are in line with the market. And she has been good at ensuring that I complete all the relevant paperwork on time to get the tenancy in place quickly. And all the time, she has been friendly, professional and knowledgeable, ensuring that I get the best return on my property. It is a comfort to know that Gemma is looking after my property while I live abroad.

The service I received from staff at FJ Lord in Shad Thames has been fantastic. They have always found me great tenants. I have had no gaps between tenants over more than 10 years until a recent break of two weeks during which they got an excellent team to go in and decorate throughout, replace floors and do various other jobs in a very short space of time so I have had minimal loss of rental income. FJL staff has always done their best to support me in finding and moving into a new home. Inga and Monika kept the letting process transparent and efficient amidst a busy period in the market. And in spite of some ongoing maintenance issues after moving in, Lisa from the lettings management team has been very helpful and professional in trying to find a solution.
