Big shout out to Clair and Jordan regarding the sale of my property, at times I felt I was going to have a nervouse breakdown, and the solictors drove me up the wall they was so slow. If it wasnt for the help I got from Claire and Jordan I would've pulled out, any anxiety I had they was at the end of the phone carming me down. Sophie who dealt with sales progression was also a great help. if I was ever going to sell my new house I'd let Claire and Jordan handle it for me 100%

My house hunt in Croydon is proving extremely challenging, due to high demand and limited budget. Darren has been absolutely brilliant, and is going above and beyond to help me find the right home for our family. He understands what we are looking for, and is always honest and upfront about the area and upsides and downsides of various properties. Croydon is new to me, so he has been invaluable at giving me advice on various areas that would suit us more than others. And most importantly, Darren doesn't do any of the 'hard sell' that estate agents have a rep for. He is straightforward and honest and out of all the estate agents I have been using, he is the one I trust implicitly to find us our new home.

I was shown around a property in south west London by an agent called Hayley Evans. It was a truly awful experience from the moment I arrived. Even though I was objectively jovial and friendly, she made me feel completely unwelcome. She followed me around like a ghost. She didn't say a single word or offer any kind of commentary on or information about the property. Her presence and demeanour were extremely icy. When she deigned to answer my questions, it was only with quick nods and shakes or one word answers. I have no idea why this person is in a public-facing job or how she even got there. Since, however, I have read several investigative articles in credible newspapers about how agents make certain 'types' of people feel unwelcome in order to dissuade them from making offers. Avoid this awful company.

We had a traumatic year with our previous tenants who took advantage of the pandemic and not pay us any rent. We were very fortunate to have Victoria (Vicky) Miles fighting our cause, as she was regularly hastening the tenants for updates on their back rent and had to put up with a lot of abuse and lies to try and help us. Victoria chased Ealing council, the DWP and other agencies to find out what the tenants were doing, as they were effectively squatting when they stayed beyond their tenancy agreement. We feel without Victoria's tenacity and good judgement the tenants may well still be in our property, but with her help in find legal pathways we were able to hasten the exit of these tenants. We feel Victoria is a credit to Townends.

The agents were ONLY unbelievably helpful BEFORE YOU SIGN THE CONTRACT. After that they just disappeard. One area manager even tried to violate one clause in the contract, trying to make a view for potential buyers 3 months prior to the end. We reported that we need small fixes for the lights and NOBODY CAME. Horrible service. Complete fraud.

We was looking for property to rent in Croydon area this agency was like biding for a property. They asking from the client how much you can spend towards the rent for the month. Most they are going more than advertised price in zoopla or right to move. And the best part if you give a price if it out bided you don't know what was the final amount. End of the day every one trying to get a property of a reasonable price but in this situation this is terrible. And this agency doing it.Don't recommend this agency

House buyers survey done to a very low standard. I feel nothing had been pointed out that that we had not seen. Lots of recommendations to bring in other contractors. After getting the keys to property and spending a few hours in the property my untrained eye cracks in brick work as one example. If this is the industry standard it is a complete waste of money.

Clive organised a contractor to come identify the problem the next day and the faulty appliances were replaced in no time. Clive was extremely helpful and swift in his actions, which made our life easier in a difficult situation. We find him an excellent manager who is easy to reach and efficient.
