Throughout my life, never have I come across an estate agent who was so professional in their dealings. I received my initial call from Jess who questioned what it is we were looking for. She listened to our requirements and immediately knew what we wanted. She wasted no time with properties that were outside of these requirements which made things a lot easier. The transition of booking a viewing to signing the documents was incredibly quick and easy, made easier by Jess’ swift yet comforting approach. Firstly when wanting to find a new flat they were quick and responsive to help. the whole process was sorted in a matter of days meaning all we had to worry about was moving ourselves in. Then when we made the decision to give the flap up early, they were more than accommodating, being extremely helpful explaining the overall process, organising potential new tenants and managing their time to come and see the flat itself. We were able to have new tenants in in just over a week of us letting D&G know we wanted to move out which is the current climate was really impressive. Rosa helped move us along with our property search, getting us in to see a property that suited our brief as soon as it went on the market, came prepared to the viewing with all the facts and figures and gave us useful insight into what the seller's position was and their motivation to move. Myself and my partner both said that Rosa, along with Jack from D&G Southfields, were the most upbeat and professional agents that showed us a house during our search. Always on time, detailed follow up information was provided and they looked genuinely excited by the property they had to show us which was in stark contrast to most of the other Estate Agents firms who had showed us other properties who just opened the door let us walk around and didn't contribute much to the viewing at all. We decided on a different location in the end so didn't proceed with the flat but would highly recommend viewings and working with Rosa and Jack to find a property if you're looking in their area.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Douglas & Gordon team. We purchased a property via the Southfields office and found the experience a pleasure from start to finish. Rosa, who showed us the property, was by far the best agent we came across during our search (and we met a lot). Knowledgeable about the property whilst maintaining just the right level of involved vs giving us room to explore. I have been in contact with him with regards to 2 properties recently and he has always been more than helpful and very quick in answering, which is very appreciated and unusual considering the current busy market today. What a fantastic experience with Douglas and Gordon. We initially spoke with James about our search for a new home in London who was incredibly helpful in pointing us in the right direction to find the perfect place. He also put us in touch with Jess our estate agent who was absolutely brilliant. She located numerous properties within a week that fitted our needs perfectly, and was able to book us in for multiple viewings all whilst being super supportive, helpful and friendly. She was literally always on call! We had an offer accepted this week for our perfect place and we couldn't be more excited. I had almost given up hope with estate agents and honestly thought I’d be writing a negative review not a positive one, we found other agents mostly to be uninterested in hearing about the selling points of a property and more about the square footage and what the computer says the value is. This changed when we met Jack from D&G and my faith was restored. Selling a home is a big cost and in today’s strange market you need someone who genuinely cares and takes the time to understand your needs and goals and requirements. Jess and James proved to be instrumental in finding a suitable tenant for a flat in Southfields. Having instructed another Estate Agent in Southfields back in December to find a tenant, little progress was made, with frequent excuses about the state of the market. I asked D&G to have a go in March and within a few weeks, I received number of offers. James and Jess worked hard and professionally to find the right tenant and prove that ‘Right Move’ is not the great leveller I believed and that Estate Agents still play an important role in finding tenants. Well done Jess and James for your hard work.
