Douglas & Gordon at West Putney couldn't have been more of a pleasure to work with. Maddy Montague is an absolute gem and I would highly recommend working with her if you get the chance to. Maddy carefully considered our preferences, and unlike other agencies, she never recommended a property that didn't fit what we asked for. As soon as a property would become available, Maddy would contact us immediately and was usually able to arrange a viewing with us the same day, which is a testament to her diligence and flexibility. I found D&G and in particular James Hastings and Anna to be enthusiastic about selling my flat, not only did they have lots of potential purchasers viewing but they took fantastic photos of my flat. I would recommend them as a sole agent and wish I had done so before I took them on. A MASSIVE thank you to Rob from the Putney West branch. We recently exchanged on our property which turned out to be a rather long and arduous process. This being due to complexities within our onward chain and caused us a great deal of stress! However, how Rob handled the situation right from day 1, was just testament to his professionalism, warm nature, commitment to us as a client and the D&G name. Having these difficulties occur, only reinforced our confidence in Rob even further. The whole process from start to finish has never been so easy. Douglas and Gordon Putney were the first agency I looked at when trying to find a property, and after our first viewing I cancelled all my other agency viewings because of how easy and friendly everyone was. Sian, Erinn and John really know how to cater to each of their customers and they are sure to keep you well informed and updated every step of the way. John Dillon has been looking after the reletting of my house in Felsham Road, Putney. John has always been friendly, courteous and responsive. I was particularly grateful to him for being honest and pragmatic enough with me to tell me about certain less favourable features of my property so that I had a better feel for what the rental value of my property was and therefore what I could hope for realistically. John managed to arrange plenty of viewings and secured my new tenants quickly. The newly agreed rent is very acceptable and the void period is negligible - something that was very important to me. D&G are currently progressing the paperwork very efficiently. I have now rented my property through D&G for very nearly 10 years and look forward to working with the team at D&G into our second decade together!

We met Sian at Douglas & Gordon West Putney and she was a breath of fresh air during our flat hunting. While we were getting tired of being contacted by 5 to 10 different agents, and having 4-5 viewings every single day, we were losing our faith in the humanity of Real Estate Business. The worst part of finding a new home for my husband and I was dealing with agents who are being a salesman by pushing their portfolio on you without caring about what you are looking for in reality. To fulfil their sales goals and their landlords' expectations, most of them do not even listen to what you are saying. We were happy to see that there are agents who listens to their client's needs, give all the information you need, prompt in communication, being frank about the property and walking distances to the public transformation, as a whole someone we could trust as an agent. In the end, we could not make an offer to one of Sian's flats unfortunately and we were feeling a bit unhappy with that because we wanted her to be our winning agent :) Definitely recommend Sian Louise Tangney as your agent if you are looking for an apartment.

Sophie was great - she listened to my wish list, everything she showed us was relevant (nothing wasn’t a possibility), she listened to my feedback to hone what she showed us, and the information she gave us on likelihood of offers being accepted/rejected was accurate. She managed to strike the sweet spot between doing the best for the landlord (her actual client) and the tenants - at no time did I feel “the hard sell”. 👍
