Amy was the most professional member of the company who we dealt with, she went above and beyond to ensure a smooth transaction. If you want to sell your property in the South West London area look no further than Douglas & Gordon. Their cross-office structure to market our property meant we had plenty of viewings and the conversion to offers was very good. The service and communication was excellent, the portal to see the feedback from viewings was very helpful and efficient. During our search (to buy) we dealt with Joel - who really impressed us. Listen to our specifications, so we only looked at relevant places. V helpful advice (not just on the properties, but also with mortgages etc) and just a very nice guy. We came close to making an offer on one of his places, but ultimately ended up choosing somewhere else. Nonetheless, he still offered advice on this other place(!) and went above and beyond even though there was nothing directly in it for him. Would recommend.

Douglas & Gordon Balham were invaluable in securing my home! All of the staff were extremely professional and knowledgable of the area and the housing market. I was also in the process of working with other letting agents in the area but D&G went out of their way to find our family the perfect place to live, making the process smooth, efficient and high quality. Highly recommend D&G for their services! Every staff member always greets with a massive smile and you know that they genuinely love their job as they are so positive, knowledgeable, and helpful. What an incredible team! Since moving in, I've been blown away by how community-centric this office is! D&G Balham also sponsored our last two annual Festive Fairs at our local primary school. Lead by the extremely energetic manager, Emlyn, not only did they provide enormous financial support, but a whole team volunteered on the stalls, providing direct help to the children and spreading good cheer across the event. It is so lovely to have a community partner who deeply and truly supports our schools.

Her communication was perfect, she guided me through he process completely, easing a lot of my fears. She was very professional and seemed to be very knowledgeable. The solicitor on my end wasn’t so great and I ended up having to change mid transaction but she was so patient. And then when it came to moving away from London and renting out our home, we decided to rent out our property with them. And I have to say, they've been first class. I cannot recommend the sales team at D&G in Balham highly enough. When faced with a sea of agents in the area to sell my property with, D&G stood out for several key reasons; their enthusiasm, their knowledge of the local area and their impressive credentials. Sales Negotiator Dave called out my property to a variety of local buyers in his diary, and we had several viewings on the first day our property went live. My property went under offer in FOUR DAYS(!) and we obtained a full asking price offer, all in under a week! Dave’s ability to match buyers to my property and his ability to streamline the transaction from start to finish meant the whole process was a breeze. Dave and the team in D&G were very professional, approachable and competent. I would have no hesitation in recommending them for anyone considering selling their home in Balham.

The experience we’ve had with Dan at D&G Balham so far has been brilliant. We are currently looking to rent in the area and although there weren’t any current suitable properties, he offered to drive us to see the area talk us through all the pros and cons! So far he has provided interesting and insightful information, and we are hoping a suitable property comes up soon so we are able to rent with D&G. Georgia Elliott was outstanding - she made a huge effort to understand what I was looking for and then spent hours showing me properties she thought I would like. She showed me properties back to back from 5-9pm on our first appointment, and then took me back numerous times to see revisit the flats I liked. Thank you too the Balham office, especially Hannah who helped in our search.
