Exceptional help during fallen tree accident

Sometimes Hampstead life throws real curveballs. On a random Monday, a 150-year-old tree fell onto the roof of the house we rent. It was frightening and then came a lot of uncertainty, especially when the fire brigade asked us to leave with only the essentials. Karl from Dexters wasn’t even our property manager at the time, yet he stepped in immediately: kept us updated throughout the day and the following week, negotiated with the landlord, coordinated the team removing the tree and getting a temporary roof in place. He also arranged a rent reduction for the month and, as a thoughtful touch, sent a box of wine, exactly what we needed at the end of a crazy week. Professional, proactive and genuinely kind. I never knew it would end up like this...

I was an employee of Howsy from the Philippines, that Dexters acquired years ago. Then this year Dexters decided to discontinue our employment with them. We knew this would happen, and I personally didn't take it against Dexters, so long as they and QQI (which is the acting HR side of Dexters here in Manila site) to pay us the separation pay that is accordance to the labor code, and this should include the number of years I stayed as an employee of Howsy which was year 2019.A lot of things happened already from the moment QQI announced the discontinuation of our employment with Dexters. And the experience that me and my colleagues are STILL experiencing is VERY CHAOTIC! This QQI hasn't released our separation yet! They refuse to honor the original hire date from Howsy - which by the way they stated from their meeting with us that will definitely be granted - just like what happened to the first batch of employees of Howsy that were also got redundated. I wouldn't want to step too low for this if only me and my colleagues were treated professionally and respectfully. They're all LIARS! The pay is now long overdue. So, please DEXTERS, help your MANILA team to raise this issue with QQI. We were your once a helping hand with your jobs, especially with repairs. We hope that this small favor from us could at least lessen the burden from us financially, after you decided to leave us all now jobless! Thank you.

NEVER choose the Blackheath Office of this Firm

It was 7 1/2 months of utter hell. It all started with the marketing period. Challenging would be a "nice way of saying it." A buyer was found on the last day of the contract. I managed the progression for at 80% of the time on my own, learning about conveyancing law, chartered surveying, lender underwriting conditions, national real estate law, ombudsman processes, and more that I should have never had to learn. Almost 1000 emails, many of which remain unanswered, underscore the difficulty they had in communications. Their selection of mortgage broker and buyers solicitor form made the entire process even worse.If I knew then what I know now I would have done the whole thing on my own. It was a complete waste of money. If you're considering selling, my recommendation (based upon my experience) is to not include them in your short list of possible agencies.I couldn't be happier to see the back of this experience and each one of the actors in this farce. I wouldn't wish this upon anyone.

We have recently completed on our purchase of our house in Tooting. The property was going through probate and the sellers were only willing to proceed if we moved quickly.Michael took us through the process from the initial viewing on Day 1 up to completion 10 weeks later. We had an issue with our conveyancer leaving the business and Michael assisted in chasing and closing out a lot complications caused by this, ultimately allowing us to exchange on the original target date.Post purchase Michael has provided further advice and I would recommend thoroughly recommend using Michael and Dexters for any sale or purchase.
