EDIT: I have received a swift resolution to the below issue and so I have amended my review accordingly. Since reaching out to Dexters (which was lovely and helpful) I have since been bombarded by sales post. I asked to be removed from the list and yet the letters keep coming. It's roughly one a fortnight. The latest letter contains inaccurate information about my property being for sale which it is not, with an agent I've never spoken to and at a price its never been listed at. Having already tried to speak directly to them, I'm now feeling ignored and frustrated that I keep having my time wasted.

The house was handed over to us in disastrous conditions regarding dirt, garbage left by the previous tenants that was never taken away, humidity on the walls, and a bad smell. After several emails completely ignored by the agency, we had to spend our own money to restore the premises to a livable condition (additional professional cleaning and purchase of a dehumidifier).During the rental period, we suffered a water leak that flooded the house. Dexter left us in these conditions for almost a month because, according to them, it was not their responsibility. When we left the house 2 months before the end of the contract out of desperation, the agency, at the end of the rental period, asked to withhold a huge amount from the deposit, accusing us of leaving the house dirty and damaged. Despite the physical and moral damages we suffered, we still cleaned the house before leaving. In conclusion, I highly recommend staying away from such people who, in addition to being unprofessional, unavailable when it comes to their responsibilities, and greedy, only care about the customer when they have to sell, abandoning them immediately after to face problems alone and only making themselves heard to collect payments.

My experience with Dexters was really BAD!First they lied about the property in the ads, mentioned there are free parking, no service charge and only when we received the property report by waiting for 5 month then realised its not the case. On top of that, we were suggested to take incentive from seller offline in order to close the purchase sooner and at the end of the day, we didn't receive the agreed cheque even though it was written in email by seller. After the completion date, agent just said it's betwen you and seller, they cannot do anything and unwilling to provide contact information with us. Agent suppose to protect buyer's right but it apparently was not our case. Be careful with who you are dealing with. My experience was with Dexters Dartmouth Park Estate Agents.

We were recommended to use an agent that had been taken over by Dexter's. Since engaging Dexter's Finchely to let our property we have had numerous issues namely; 35% of monthly payments have been incorrect, over charges on agreed management fees and unauthorized letting board.On every occasion it has taken us to highlight the errors before they were rectified despite repeated (hollow) assurances that the Company highly values it's relationships. Avoid these cowboys at all costs.
