A horrible experience

A horrible experience. Dexters arranged a viewing for us at the property when the previous tenant’s furniture was still in the flat. There was serious damp damage on the wall linings behind that furniture. They did not disclose this even though they were aware of a serious leak in the building and then failed to acknowledge their gross marketing practice. We made an offer. On the first day of our tenancy we discovered the damp on the walls, faulty electrics, faulty heating units and mold on the window blinds. Beware of trusting them

He was cheerful and helpful throughout and even managed to get the owners deposit back despite the difficulties due to the tenant passed away. Will not hesitate to recommend him and Dexters.

Great customer service!

I moved into my new property on the 20th December 2022, just before Christmas which is a hectic time for everybody! However, with the assistance of Dexters (especially Bill) they have made my move very smooth and hassle free. Bill has been nothing but helpful, proactive and attentive. He has gone above and beyond to answer all of my questions and always gets back to me when he says he will (a lot of people don’t!). Bill has (and will continue to I’m sure) provided me with excellent customer service.

I usually manage my property rental directly because the few times i've used Estate Agents in the past i've been let down or flat out lied to. When i contacted Joe Read at Dexters to discuss taking over my portfolio i fully expected to meet just another Estate Agent out to get his next easy commission with little interest in me or the property. But, happily, i was wrong in this instance. Joe and his team went out of their way to get the property advertised, AND secure a tenant very quickly AND over the expected rental price. When i raised concerns about rent arrears Joe worked with his team to research a rent guarantee service. i was thoroughly impressed with the team, and how responsive they have been to my queries and concerns. I look forward to working with them more in the future and would happily recommend to anyone!

As first-time buyers previously missing out on properties to cash buyers, we had gone through the motions of dozens of viewings and offers. Worst experience with the agency

Worst experience with the agency, I decided to move out the apartment earlier because living conditions were unbearable. As such early tenancy move outs require a penalty, I was told by an agent a sum and that it is a fixed amount regardless if they will find a new tenant or I will, the total sum stays the same.Come to find out 2 months later that this in fact was not true and I could’ve saved almost 2K if I found a tenant myself. Agent was denying ever saying those terms to me to the point it was easier to pay the sum than start the negotiations with big agency. Would not recommend to use them or be very careful with every communication and have it crystal clear via emails.
