Actively avoid using! They are not just unhelpful but bullies who use scaremongering to rinse you of all your money. When we gave them over three months notice to leave our contract early they only started advertising the flat a month before we were due to move out and refused our offers to help find replacements. This resulted in us having to not just pay to break the contract early but also continue to pay rent until new tenants were found and moved in. There is no communication internally so when we gave them keys to arrange viewings (after losing the first set) they forgot they had them so showed up to the flat with prospective new tenants and were unable to get in. They also tried to charge us for a professional clean ahead of a checkout and inventory being done and before anyone had even viewed the property after we moved out when we had cleaned it to a professional standard. In short, the people at Dexters Clapham South are legally and morally dubious at best and incompetent at worst. Unless you fancy losing thousands of pounds I would recommend using literally any other letting agency or going privately.

I've been with Dexters for some time and have just done a relet and turnaround with the help of Aaron and Daine. I would like to thank them both for their efficient service, taking on board my comments and requirements and finding me excellent tenants. I think the property was marketed for less than a week before it was relet and the whole check out and check in process was painless, largely thanks to Daine's organisation skills. As they are only around the corner from the property, they were on hand to help, conduct viewings, deal with questions etc. Thank you.

I had an incredible experience thanks to the help of Leo. After having a huge disaster with another estate agent, Leo quickly came to my rescue. He was amazing at finding properties that suited all my needs and was attentive with all my queries and essentials. He always had my best interest at heart, continually searching for new properties and ways to help me escape the previous disaster my first estate agents caused me. Leo treated me like a friend whilst remaining professional and all around, possesses the best qualities that you would want in an estate agent- if you are going through Dexter's for a property hunt, I couldn't recommend Leo enough!

Honestly since the initial contact I had with Aaron at Dexters my experience has been an absolute pleasure. The rental market at the moment is so overwhelming and really made me so anxious to have to look for another property after our lease ended. Aarron was amazing! After asking me for what we wanted , I really felt like he listened to me and then only sent me properties that matched our criteria, which was so helpful. I selected one I thought could work for us and within a day we met him for a viewing. He and his colleague Dane were so professional in showing us the property, not only where they polite and presentable - they clearly had researched the property and were able to give us all the information we needed on a very informative walk through and answered any questions we had - also we so appreciated that if they didn't know the answer instead of misleading us they said they weren't sure and would find out... this was so refreshing compared to other agents we had worked with. Since then we have breezed through the process with Aaron and his team working seamlessly as the link between us and the landlord and we have felt so comfortable through the whole process. 2016: Brilliant service and they found me a quality tenant in the quietest time of year. Ethan was great with weekly updates. Used them as my sole agent and they got the results without the pushy nature of some other well know agents!! 2018: I've used Dexters again and the current team at Clapham South has been my favourite ones to deal with to date. Led by Julien, a really personable office and Alfie in particular was incredibly patient and helpful. With a little patience on my part, we finally got the quality of tenants needed. 2020: Thanks to Julien and Autumn another smooth experience - this was also the quickest amount of time they found new tenants for me. Autumn kept me regularly updated with anything that needed to be delivered from my side eg ECG / Gas Saftey and contacts were offered should I need them. Very happy with my continued experience with Dexters.
