My husband and I recently bought our new home and Tom at Dexters, Ealing, was the estate agent we were lucky enough to be working with. Even though he was working on behalf of the person we were buying from, he went above and beyond to help guide us with our purchase. Tom is professional, approachable and very knowledgeable, and is able to work well under pressure yet remain calm. Our move was extremely stressful and emotional (due to our buyers- nothing to do with Dexters) and Tom was an incredible support who made us feel listened to- we will never forget how amazingly kind he was! Communication with Tom was seamless as he seemed to answer every email or phone call within minutes! We would highly recommend Tom to anyone in Ealing, and predict that he will go far in his career. All this, plus one of the nicest people you will meet.

We have recently come to the end of approx 18 months in a rental property managed by Dexters. After a shaky start with people in the lettings team, we dealt primarily with Christian Pengelly, a senior property manager in Ealing. He has always been courteous, considerate and professional and, while we haven't always seen eye to eye, it never took us too long to reach a sensible and reasonable agreement. Christian is a credit to himself and Dexters.

Very disappointing experience with Natalia Mackowiak at Dexters. After the viewing, Natalia never followed up to ask for our feedback or to check whether we were interested in the property. We had to chase her ourselves for updates. She was also extremely difficult to reach. Whenever we called, we were told she was “on another line” and that she would call us back, but the callbacks never came. We repeatedly had to contact her ourselves just to get basic updates. What was particularly frustrating was that Natalia later called us to revisit our offer, which gave us the impression that there was still an opportunity to discuss it. However, after that conversation, we never heard back from her again and once again had to chase for an update. I understand estate agents are busy, but if you contact a prospective tenant to revisit an offer, you would expect some follow-up afterwards. The repeated lack of communication and failure to follow through made the entire experience extremely frustrating and unprofessional. We completely understand that not every offer will be successful, and we don’t expect an agent to guarantee a property. However, we do expect professionalism, transparency and basic communication throughout the process. Unfortunately, not an experience I would recommend.

Unfortunately, at the end I didn´t close the option with Dexter and this is a mixed feeling because the support and the Customer Service that we´ve got from Devon were fantastic. Always trying to meet our needs, with a super positive mindset to support, without invading our space but always bringing different possible, at the end we chose another property that offered a bit better community facilities.  Even not make final agreements with Dexter the experience with them was supper positive.
