My flat mate and I experienced truly wonderful service working with Narean at the Dexter's Ealing branch. He truly built rapport with us so well, invested time into understanding our needs and negotiated with us and for us to find us a great fit. Being on a time crunch, we really needed to sort this out quickly; and as a truly talented salesman, Narean was not only able to find us a fantastic flat, but also to close our deal within days. We love our new flat and area so much! We could not have asked for a better outcome. We are incredibly grateful for all of his hardwork, open communication, knowledge, wisdom and professionalism. By far the worst letting agency I've dealt with so far (and I've dealt with 4 other over a 12 year period), from start of the tenancy, throughout the tenancy to the end of it. In detail: 1. Move-in condition. We were handed the flat in a disgusting state despite requesting professional cleaning. Dust, grease, cobwebs, limescale, mould, red grime in the bathroom, breadcrumbs, food debris, even the bin hadn't been emptied. The agency acknowledged it wasn't properly cleaned and sent a cleaner, who did a quick scrub of the worst limescale and left. Both the bathroom and kitchen remained in a poor state. Everything was thoroughly documented with photos, timestamped, and sent to Dexters by email with an explicit request to attach it to the tenancy file. 2. During the tenancy. There are compulsory inspections every six months, conducted by the maintenance/property management team, who were worse than useless as they just wasted some of our time. We reported faults and nothing was done. Even legally required works, such as installing a smoke alarm, took weeks. A further health and safety hazard was flagged by the very engineer who came to fit the alarm, and again, property management did nothing. 3. At the end of tenancy, we returned the flat in a significantly better condition than we received it, cleaned to a high standard (though not professionally, just as it wasn't when we moved in). Eleven days after we moved out, we received the checkout report. The agency (and the landlady) are attempting to deduct £450 from our deposit for "cleaning" (citing light dust, which is inevitable after 10+ days in an empty flat) and "wear and tear" on the furniture. Regarding the furniture: with high probability, this is the Reflect range sold via B&Q's, that is made from chipboard with melamine veneer. It is literally marketed on the product listing as being aimed at landlords. It is among the cheapest flat-pack bedroom furniture available in the UK. The "wear and tear" they're claiming is the melamine film peeling off, which is a known material defect with this grade of furniture, not tenant damage. Much of the furniture had started to peel off before our tenancy (and that was documented).

I recently rented my house through dexters. After much consideration of them and other agencies, I ultimately chose Dexters as in my opinion they showed the most energy for the job, showed the most expertise and seemed to have the best set-up to find the right pool of tenants I was looking for. This was 100% the right decision as the house was rented at the asking price (higher than any other agency estimate) in less than a week, the handover process to the tenants was smooth and professional, and Dexters were very accommodating in understanding my preferences for the house, and experience looking after it. Horrible branch, dishonest with very poor communication. Kept giving me fake appointments when they had no intention of showing the property and won’t be clear and forthcoming if they had decided not to proceed. You call and they pretend on phone that agents are busy and will call back and no one ever gets back. Total waste of time!! Avoid!!

I can't say enough good things about the Dexters team in Ealing. Our agent was Devon Lee and he was so kind and extremely helpful. We just moved to London from overseas and have been overwhelmed with finding a place to live. Him and all his colleagues advised us on which areas had good schools for our son. We walked in around 2:00 pm on a Saturday afternoon and Devon spent the rest of his day taking us to listings and even drove us to some of the schools in the area. He went above and beyond and was truly looking out for us. Everyone else has also been so kind and helpful when I keep calling the office to ask questions about filling out forms and how the banking works here and such. This has been such a great experience during a very stressful move and we're so grateful.
