Anthony Barnes @ Dexters is the best lettings agent I've dealt with and had great energy, professionalism and advice throughout. He made well considered suggestions and booked viewings based on my needs and I would definitely recommend him to others. My only regret was the flat I ended up taking wasn't through him! Extremely disappointing service. Worst ever experience with letting agents . PLEASE AVOID IF YOU CAN !!. Despite having signed the contract (which was nicely done by Dexters, Ealing) we were told 2 weeks prior to moving date that the contract IS NOT legally binding and landlord can pull out if he wants to. We got bullied into accepting a furnished property & to sign a new contract as each one of their managers told us nicely that we have no leg to stand on !!!! We took legal advice and the contract was legally binding but the managers at ealing branch kept insisting it is not binding. Despite signing the contract for unfurnished property 2 months in advance, a week before moving in date we ended up accepting a furnished property . Costing us a lot of money to pay extra to get rid of/store our furniture. And all Dexters seem to care about is the landlord (As they provide more business for dexters )and kept on insisting that contract is not legally binding. Basically we felt threatened .Please avoid if you can and do not go with them .

Dexters' Ealing team is the best I've ever seen - and I say it as someone that has been looking for the perfect flat for a long time! The best help I could ever ask for. The person looking after me both on the phone and during the viewings, Shan, is really friendly, but also very professional, and she knows exactly what I'm looking for. She made looking for a flat a nice, enjoyable experience, and also EASY for someone - like me - that doesn't really know what to do when looking for the perfect home!

Having had my property on the market for two months with four other agencies, I didn't have much hope when Camilla and Lucy came over and assured me they would "get it rented within two weeks". To say I was skeptical would be an understatement. To my surprise I had an offer with great tenants locked in within 8 days of my initial meeting. Camilla and Lucy are outstanding at what they do. They both answered my endless list of questions and continue to assist with any issues I have two months later. Save yourself a lot of time and hassle and find these two at Dexters before you go anywhere else.

The worst agency ever!!!! They are cheaters!!!! I would never recommend anyone to deal with them! During we rent the property they didn't help us at all, moreover, they could not respond for the email, when we ask for the help. They came in the property without permission and previously arranged appointment! Do not deal with them! In the end of the tenancy they claim money for nothing, even there is clear check out report!!! People, please, be careful with the agencies such a dexters!!!!!!!!!!

Be prepared to give up privacy on the last 2 months of your contract. No consideration for tenants. One star because I can't give negative stars. Renting through dexters in ealing has been stressfull from the very beginning of our 2 year contract. 2 years ago we dealt with an agressive sale attitude focused purely on the landlord side. Our concerns regarding the contract were badly managed and rudely done. 2 years after now on notice period the nightmare continues. 2 months of viewings back to back, no consideration for our privacy or personal lives. Barging in after being told not to come in, abusive use of keys. Complaints dealt again in an "defensive" atittude specially from management side. One sided communication. Couldn't be happier to move out and finish all the unecessary stress caused by these agents. Atitude on the west ealing office is completly different, thank god!

I have used Dexters over the past year so far impressed with the service. I'd like to mention Lucy and Ruchika - Why? Well they both have assisted supported and guided me with any questions and issues and nothing seems to much trouble - always willing to help which counts for alot in my personal opinion. They have dealt with me promply and professionally and most importantly I get a call back when I call in the office if they are busy. This makes me realise I made a good choice of agency to use. DO NOT RENT WITH DEXTERS! This company does no background checks on Landlords. My deposit protection was not registered despite it saying it was in the Dexters contract. The landlord failed to keep the flat in good repair taking 5 months to fix a leaking roof after the council threatened to fine him £30,000 also taking 6 months to fix a shower which was not working from the start after Dexters promised to fix it before I moved in. This was not done. Dexters lied its way into a contract and has no real interest in fixing any problems or disputes after move in. Dexters has a high turnover of staff which doesn't help trying to explain this every time I call but to no end. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

The managers at this branch are verbally abusive and treat their clients like dirt. I will NEVER go near Dexters again, truly an experience to remember and a lesson learnt. They were unbelievably unprofessional to my co-tenants and have no understanding of their obligation to uphold their contracts with the same level of commitment as they expect of their clients. Absolutely despicable behaviour and I would not wish my experiences with them upon a single person breathing.

Cowboys If you're selling they'll give you an elevated price and then negotiate you down. If you're buying they'll continually lie to you throughout the process. Seriously buy from someone else otherwise you'll waste months of your life and a significant amount on lawyers, searches etc
