I have had a great experience with Dexters when buying my first property in Shepherds Bush. From the beginning, Penelope was helpful and communicative, always happy to answer any questions that I had. Buying your first property can be daunting and so her support made the difference. Avni came in later on in the process and again was extremely efficient and communicative, helping to push through the purchase. There are so many stakeholders and both Penelope and Avni made the process simple, efficient and as pain free as possible. We achieved an exchange date less than three months from when the offer was accepted. All in all, I couldn't recommend more.

We met Keishan Wignall while looking for our house in west London; he immediately followed us in all our requests, also pushing us to dare on some solutions that were right for us. He has always been very present and available, explaining the different solutions to us and helping us find a fair agreement with our current landlord. Even in the case of a communication error he did not lose heart and resolved the problem in a very short time. We were recently involved in a lengthy and difficult multi-chain property purchase and found Devin and Avni to be invaluable assets in getting the transaction completed. From the point of submitting our offer, Devin was proactive and would keep me clearly informed as to the progress of the transaction.. He was motivated throughout, at one time suggesting he would personally drop off paperwork on the other side of London. As the process evolved, Avni joined the team and had the unenviable role of dealing with various emotions of the chain participants, the competing agendas associated with that, and the co-ordination of various parties from the chains to work together towards a common goal. We have been EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in the services provided by Dexters Shepherds Bush. We have been waiting for 5 months for anything to be done about issues that we have raised and have had high levels of concern for our health due to dampness, high humidity and mould present. We have noticed similar reviews on here where the agent were notified of problems yet never got back or have delayed the resolution process by months to even half a year with no real call to action. Almost 5 months later after sending constant emails and calls to dexters from our end, we have only had a damp survey which was done 4 months in. Only since we told Dexters we wanted to leave the home due to no issues being resolved did they agree to do a temporary fix via chemical damp and mould treatment. Dexters had knowingly supplied and let us live in a sub-par property that was not up to standard with the health and safety guidelines. Upon every email reply and call, dexters agents showed eagerness to help at first but every time it fell on deaf ears - almost as if it seems like they care and want to help but then are uncontactable after that for weeks until we hear from them again to which we go back to square one. Our outdoor deck was not fit for purpose upon moving in which we had notified dexters within a week of our tenancy start date, the wooden planks are rotten and dip down which is hazardous to stand on and deep puddles form all over so we have not made any use of the outdoor area. There is still no resolution in place for this. We have reached our absolute limit, after waiting 5 months and getting no where. We are paying for this with our mental and physical health, we would like to move out immediately but are being held by their inactivity and unaccountability to us. Dexters want us to pay a fee to leave the property even though we had given them the benefit of the doubt every time to rectify the problems to no avail. We don’t see why we are penalised for putting up with a sub standard rental when they are the ones breaching the contract terms by supplying us with a damp and mouldy house in the first place. Any amount of time delayed on this matter of mould for any tenant is not acceptable given the nature of the complaint, so at 5 months and being after we had already decided to leave it was beyond a joke. Now it is taking weeks for them to work through our options and prolonging the process for us, when we simply just want to leave. Following that we were misinformed of our options at the start of the process and a month later, while we were held at standstill, we are properly informed of our options. Our time has been wasted by Dexters not communicating and providing misinformation meaning we can’t move forward with our lives. The only time they acted like an agent to us was when they were eager to take our money in signing of the lease papers back in sept 2023. Since then it has been a nightmare for us all.

Where do I begin? This particular team at Kensington Olympia/Brook Green are really very different to a typical Estate Agency. Oliver looked after me from the very beginning to the very end making sure that absolutely no stone was unturned and every minuscule detail was thoroughly, painstakingly looked at. You really will feel thoroughly looked after. Lightening smart, proactive and the focus is always first and foremost on making sure you’re taken care of as a first priority even before your sale. Georgia really clearly is an A*-class manager who looks after her team. Penelope and Amrita were always on hand to support if necessary - the team always help one another out so there is usually always someone on hand to answer your calls/emails if you require. Such a lovely bunch - there is a real sense of compassion for you that is felt here. You ask an intricate question and they are on it immediately (and probably already had it seen to). Maximum efficiency, maximum care - In my experience, this is customer service at its absolute best. They make even a challenging sale seem like a piece of cake. If your solicitors can’t deal with something this lot will be so helpful and go above and beyond to fill in the gaps if it's within their remit. What more do you want!? I would choose these guys for a sale in a heartbeat. Their boutique approach to the sales process is really serving them well. We’ve all heard dubious stories about Estate Agents however this particular team at Dexters are really the polar opposite. Well done, guys - you thoroughly deserve all the praise and more! I certainly could not fault the commitment and dedication of the sales team at Dexters. I lost count of the number of viewings they organised for the house. And they eventually found a buyer and were helpful in ensuring a smooth sale process. My one quibble would be that they - and we - underestimated the impact of the state of the house next door on the value of our property, which meant that we had to reduce the price a few times. I could not recommend Ollie at Dexters highly enough. He was the only agent I came across in the 2years that it took for us to find our dream home who didn't bombard us with properties that were clearly not appropriate for us. When the time came for him to show us the perfect property that he knew we would love he then did everything he could to vouch for us as buyers to the sellers and I can say with confidence that we wouldn't have had our offer accepted under asking if it wasn't for his efforts.
