I recently completed the sale of my flat in London, which was handled by Dexters Shepherds Bush Office. They did an excellent job in finding me a purchaser and then constantly following up with them and the solicitor to bring the matter to conclusion. They were very professional in the way they handled everything, in particular Charlotte Tunnicliffe and Jodie Ryan, who excelled and made sure that I was kept advised at all times on the progress. Shanice was fantastic to deal with. From getting us viewings, to making an offer and keeping us updated with everything. Not great. Arrived at the property, had to wait an hour in the freezing cold during the cold months, as the agent did not have the keys and had to wait for tenant to show up. After 1 hour wait, 5 people were rushed into the flat to view in 5 min! There was no time to look at the place properly and assess anything. Rushed by the manager who hustled us. Dexters have an agressive attitude to closing offers on flats. There is not care, they just want quick commission, and they beg anyone to put 5-star reviews to revy up their reputation.

Ibby was friendly ,approachable and very knowledgable without being pushy which swayed us to sign with Dexters. Very disappointing experience. We paid a holding deposit, but unfortunately our application did not pass the referencing process. We were informed that, in this case, we were entitled to receive our deposit back. However, despite being promised a refund within five working days, then within one week, then within two weeks, we are still waiting almost three weeks later. Most recently, we were assured the money would be returned by Tuesday, but once again nothing happened. The communication has been extremely poor. The office does not answer calls, WhatsApp messages are ignored, and the agent we dealt with, Kelvin, has completely stopped responding. Other staff members simply say he is “not in the office,” despite him appearing to be online. We have every right to receive our money back, yet the team has chosen to ignore us instead of providing an update or resolving the issue. This level of customer service is unacceptable, and I would not recommend this agency.

Appalling service. Took weeks to respond to our calls and emails. So many problems with property from start which were not sorted even in two years. At end of tenancy they charged us for professional cleaner even after we received the flat is a disgusting state. Then the “planned” cleaners did not arrive on arranged date resulting in several comments made regarding this on check out. Also then charged £100+ for handyman to fix listed issues of two minor tile cracks (one reported as done by Dexter’s hired handyman in first few months), to replace a toaster which was never provided and a bin which was left exactly where we found it. Would highly recommend avoiding if possible! I know that letting agents are never that good but this is beyond that! EDIT (4/11/2018): I wrote an email on 14/11/2018 to the email address provided but this email has not been responded to.
