I have recently sold my property through Dexters in Clapham South having previously listed it with another local estate agent. The service I received form Dexters was far superior, from the level of viewings to the communication & professionalism of everyone I dealt with. The whole operation from start to finish has been very slick & the team have been so helpful & polite. We are so grateful George at Dexters got in touch directly back in Feb to tell us about the property we have now (finally!) bought. It was just in the nick of time pre-lockdown, we had been looking for months and had grown increasingly impossible to please. George had listened to what we needed and was flexible to ensure we could view before the market closed down in lockdown. We then dealt with Tal who was very responsive and kept both ourselves and the seller up to speed, she worked hard to ensure there were no hiccups along the way! Purchased a property through Dexters in May 2020. From start to finish, the service couldn't have been more professional & friendly. Gaz and his team were incredible. In particular this was a purchase made during the COVID-19 situation, with lockdown making things much more difficult - nevertheless, Gaz and Tal were super helpful - always just a call away, no request was too much and they were instrumental in helping to coordinate a smooth and stress-free purchase. Just bought through Dexters Clapham - overall a positive experience. Josh takes a different approach to most, in that he asks for an hour of your time and shows you things he thinks might be of interest (rather than just the one you've asked to see). This worked a treat for us, as we didn't like the one we initially asked to see, but did really like another that we'd seen online and dismissed from the photos/description. Once the offer was accepted, we were passed to Talvinder (Tal) in the sales team, who shepherded the deal through. There were a few snags and fraught moments along the way, but Tal kept on the case, and finally we're in. They seem like a generally nice bunch all round in the Clapham Abbeville office, and I wish them all well.

We are working on an offer we made with Matieu Berna from the Clapham office. Mat has been supporting us for the last few months also with other viewings and has been a pleasure to work with him. Mat is knowledgeable, flexible and tries to accomodate our needs in all way. He is able to develop a good understanding of the buyer's priorities over time and acts accordingly. What my husband and I liked most about Matt is not only the fact that he tries to accomodate all our requests but also the fact that he has always demonstrated a deep knowledge of the houses he's showed us. In a nutshell he has always added value to the visit. Most of the other estate agents only open the door and give you almost no additional info and are barely able to answer to questions on the structural features of the property - Matt does. So, very happy with him so far, hopefully both the agency and Matt will continue to keep up with expectations and with this feedback until the very end!

I just wanted to write and say that Gabriel Cunningham was honestly the best estate agent I worked with during my property search. I viewed over 30 properties with over 10 different estate agents. He was polite, considerate and efficient. He was organised with his viewings, had documents and information at the ready or found out quickly if he didn't, was willing to be flexible to my time constraints and was rapid in arranging viewings that overlapped with his colleagues. At the same time he didn't rush me and was always friendly when I called for advice or further questions. Nice to also see him teaching younger agents in training. Selling your house is always a testing and stressful experience but Gabriel and Leah at Dexters Abbeville Road, Clapham tried and succeeded in taking much of that on their own shoulders. Rory, the local director, priced our house realistically, explaining the logic of his recommendation and then all the local team visited the house so they could describe it to potential purchasers and answer any questions without bothering us. They also vetted potential purchasers so we did not feel bothered by time-wasters. However, the best was in the support after accepting an offer. Although we had purchased another property before offering our home for sale, of necessity our buyers were part of a chain and Leah and Gabriel worked hard to keep us updated on progess and piecing together what was happening. Agreeing the sale did not mean Dexters lost interest, indeed they became more involved with their support for us all the way through to exchange. Thank you Rory, Gabriel & Leah

Dexters delivered. They said they would close an offer in 6 weeks and they did. They also negotiated the best possible offer we could have got in this market. Mathieu and Jack are possibly the most diplomatic estate agents I know, their local market knowledge is unrivalled and they should win awards for their patience which knows no bounds - especially Mat's. I'm writing this review to praise a particular member of staff ( Nicole Snape ). My colleagues and I have bought and sold many properties over the years; through various estate agents. Some good and some bad; however Nicole stands out by a million miles. Her professionalism and attention to details is unrivalled. The pre sale, sale and post sale service was second to none. We could go on and on for days about how wonderful Nicole was; but we will conclude this review with the following: Nicole is a credit to the profession, to Dexters and most of all to herself. So much so that we will be putting are next project in Battersea on the market once completed with Dexters. Nicole keep up the good work.

I sold my flat with Dexters in 2016. Very impressed with the service, speedy efficient, friendly and with great communication. I was doubly impressed with them when I had to deal with other estate agents later on. Particularly helpful is their completion service, which keeps the sale on track after an offer is made. I dealt with Talvinder at the Clapham office, who was really helpful in talking to solicitors etc and generally keeping things moving and me informed at all stages. I'd have no hesitation in recommending them if you're thinking of selling.
