I had a particularly good experience dealing with Dexters Clapham as a buyer - a very hardworking and efficient team. Dominic Murray was an approachable point of contact when viewing properties and making offers, and always transparent about the process which could be stressful at times. Later on in the process Amber Bowers helped as we moved towards our (ambitious) targeted exchange/completion date and was always able to unblock delays or misunderstandings in the conveyancing process. The team at Dexters in Clapham were amazing. From the very outset Mathieu made it very clear that as the seller I was his client and my best interests were the priority. Mathieu was very clear, in tune with the market in terms of valuation and responsive and he ensured the team of selling agents were properly briefed. Then I had the pleasure of working with Viki who was also amazing and got me such a great outcome. When I thought that was the best I could get, I was introduced to Garry in the "get the sale over the line" team. Gary kept me informed at all stages and we managed to get the sale over the line in 6 weeks saving the buyer stamp duty which is brilliant. We bought our first house through Dexters in Abbeville, Clapham and we were so supported throughout by the whole team. Conor really listened to and understood what we were looking for. When we missed out on a property we’d liked, he took us under his wing and took us to see one just coming on the market because it ticked all of our boxes, as well as a similar property that had been done up so we could really visualise it’s potential. The offer process was smooth, and Conor explained everything clearly and was helpful at putting us in touch with solicitors etc as we needed to move quickly. Tal supported us throughout the contract and conveyancing process and was a true hero, working all hours patiently between us and the sellers to help us negotiate what we needed. We had a very tight deadline, which everyone took seriously and we’re so grateful to Conor, Tal and team that they worked so hard to help us get everything in place for then. Rory, Talvinder, Gaz and their excellent team worked with me closely from the listing process right through to exchange and are continuing to ensure things are moving well for our completion next week. It was not an easy sale, with the market and buyer reacting to the Covid fears, but Rory was exemplary in his handling of the situation - listening to my views and formulating intelligent strategies to get the sale past the finishing post in the best possible way. Talvinder was noted by my solicitor as 'outstanding' with 'great attention to detail', when coordinating with her on steps to move the buyer to exchange and I agree. Selling your home is often noted as one of most stressful things to do and indeed it is, as rarely is it straightforward. We first engaged Gabriel at Dexters, Abbeville Road 3 years ago when we were thinking about selling our house and were impressed by his honesty and energy. 3 years later, although Gabriel has moved on, Rory more than filled his shoes and we instructed them to sell our house. We got a quick sale with a fair price. The process was smooth and Tal, a pleasure to work with. We couldn’t find the house we wanted despite George Underwoods support so we went into rental. George continued to show us properties and kept us informed as the market continued to shift due to covid. Eventually, thanks to George, we found the perfect house. As a buyer I have just had a very good experience with Dexters in Clapham. After registering with my budget and brief etc I got a call from Viki who spent some time with me showing me a range of properties she thought would be suitable with one being her 'curve ball'! All properties matched the briefed to be fair, but the curve ball stole the show (slightly against the brief!!). I 'am so happy Viki took it upon herself to think outside the box for me as I've just exchanged on the property!! Thanks Viki! Gaz did the negotiating for me, which was pretty seamless and represented both sides fairly and acted professionally throughout! Dexters Clapham recently helped us to sell our property. They were extremely proactive and passionate from the initial valuation all the way through to the completion. Within the first week we had had over 20 viewings! Gaz was great in the consultation and told us the valuation to expect and talked us through the viewings process, making sure we were comfortable with it all. From there, Mat and the sales team were very driven to show potential buyers round, always keeping us informed of times and dates of viewings, as well as being on hand and friendly throughout. Latter stages of house sale went a little slowly, hard to get hold of the person we were dealing with but all went through without too much bother. Moving day went to plan, collected keys around midday from the office, got to house to discover previous owner was 4-5 hours away from moving out. I have since spoken to the Manager who has explained the situation and I feel it was out of their control. They did their very best to make the day a smooth one.
