Had a wonderful experience with dexters of Putney, it’s not often you speak to a person who is assured, assertive, knowledgeable and understanding of your needs, all at the same time. I came in with possibly some unreasonable letting expectations, but was reassured and had my mind put at peace of realistic expectations for one of my BTL properties. I engaged with one of the managers (I think), by the name of Julian Thompson, who was very straight talking, and down to earth. All in all it was a pleasurable experience dealing with him. I’m typically limited for time, but I think I’ll stick with this branch of Dexters moving forward. Mr Thompson is a great asset to Dexters for sure.

We have been left very disappointed and frustrated by numerous members of the Dexters Team. Not even the Director of Customer Relations has been reliable in ensuring that our complaints have been addressed honestly by senior members of Dexters as the responses have altered during their complaint policy process confirming original information they had stated was in fact false. They owned up to known faults from their side. This included jobs not being logged by their maintenance team when advised to by a Senior member named Charlie. Only to be blamed by Charlie for emailing on a Friday having waited since Monday when the job was logged for not having heard back outside of their response policy time. We also encountered issues with GDPR with our contact telephone information being shared with contractors without prior notice that a contactor would be stopping by.from Dexters. Our AST stated we would have written notice for any such matters and we received Dexters privacy policy that their actions also contradicted. We received confirmation this email was received by the Director of Customer Relations although they did not want to imcriminate themselves further. We were offered compensation by Adam, a Director as a small "goodwill gesture" as a way to show they had recognised some faults on their side. Only for this later to be changed and given an an ultimatum adding additional conditons that we were unable to provide honest reviews and seek further legal help for this small amount to be given when they have crossed numerous lines and are seriously at fault. Their actions have only proven further that they are not only unreliable, dishonest and inefficient but even on our checkout report, it stated they couldnt find the garage and Dexters couldn't advise that the garage which is adjacent to the property was located. That was after they had sent the same email to both us as existing tenants and the new tenants the same email with errors of inaccurate information. Do not use Dexters as a landlord as they will only let issues become larger by not taking care of them quicker when reported causing greater cost. As a tenant, certainly do not use them as they really need better training in all aspects: Communication, GDPR laws, politeness, honesty, integrity and most of all care for what they do.

Was moving to a new flat in Putney, had problems getting keys the morning of the move. Spoke to Chloe and received nothing but rudeness, aggressive tones, dismissal of the problem and overall unhelpful and disgusting behaviour. Offered my flatmate and I no help in the problem, after being off on holiday without telling us during the paperwork process, and left us with a trainee Tommy to handle all of the important moving documents. Which is probably the reason we had issues in the first place. Cant believe these are our letting agents for the new place. Already regretting this choice.

12/07/2022 UPDATE: ***Unfortunately it all went down hill rapidly once the contract was signed. I was advised on the rental to be received after agents commission which was not honored and far from the confirmed amount. The agent should have sent me a specific tax form to sign which they failed to do. Now having to pay my accountant to resolve the issue. I communicated the problem to Archie and the Dexter's Putney team to get a resolution but got the square root of nothing. Was advised that someone in another department of Dexter's was going to contact me but that has not happened. Just awful and a total lack of communication and care. Will now have to instigate legal action. *** Original Review: Archie from Dexter's has been very helpful and communication has been excellent. I have let my property with them yet again. Based in Australia but grew up in Putney, I was looking for a reputable agent that was going to take care of my needs and provide quality tenants. I can highly recommend Archie and Dexter's based on my experience.
