FacebookGreat bunch of professional guys they are all very welcoming and helpful When viewing my property Munir (sorry if spelling is wrong) he made us feel very welcoming and was very helpful and friendly Liam was also profesional and very helpful Although I drove him mad at times he was always very helpful the guys are easy to talk to and understanding I would reccomened them to everyone Thanks to all at Cottage Fields been a great help

GoogleHighly recommended from the start. Kept me updated whilst I was looking for a property, and on the correct list of size and price range, unlike previous estate agents I have dealt with. The staff are lovely, Ilshad is always very polite and as is Faith, who always more than outgoing and helpful with queries. Always my first recommendation to friends and family. Definitely a scratch above the rest!

GoogleWhen first dealing with Cottage fields they seemed very professional but after viewing the property that myself and my partner liked and advised that we were interested in moving to the property, the customer service was appalling. No one got back to us, everytime we called to find out if they had spoken to the landlord we were fobbed off. We were told that as soon as contact was made with the landlord we would be the first to know, not true. Took my father to call and be told it had been let and when my partner called was told by the agent they had still not heard from the landlord but when pulled up by my partner to say they had just told his father in law it had been let, the agent did not know what to say. Good Afternoon Nicola. Thank you for your review. I want to apologise if you were not happy with our service. We are currently working in a world wide pandemic dealing with COVID-19, meaning we have had to move our team to working from home independently. Due to the restrictions imposed on us, we have limited resources and staff available to work which has caused us some issues and unfortunately affected our level of service in this instance. We have tried our best to continue working throughout this difficult time, whilst most other agents have been closed. I hope you can appreciate it is tougher to communicate with each other whist working from home with limited staff. We do feel a one star review in this difficult time is tough to take, as we have been trying our best to work effectively during this time, despite the difficulty. Admittedly some of our staff have not adjusted back to work completely and i can only apologise for how this has impacted you. I hope you are understanding of our situation and we will endevour to assist you in the future should you need it with our usual high levels of standards.

We use Cottage Fields as our sole agents, as they are very experienced in the field and their service is unrivalled. They help us acquire investments properties to buy, once we have renovated them, we then proceed to let and manage with speed, professionalism and skill. They truly take the stress away for scenarios one can find difficult through the selling, letting and management of properties. Would not recommend them higher. Great team of honest and truly hard working individuals.

GoogleWhat is a holding deposit? Your agents take a holding deposit for a property, then continue to arrange viewings at the same property over the following 3 weeks, presumably taking more deposits. Is this normal practice? I enquire about my possible tenancy and the reply is always that "the Landlord will be getting back to us tomorrow with a decision, I will call you tomorrow". The call never comes, this happened MANY TIMES. I wonder if the t&c have anything to do with it namely, the clause that if i withdraw interest, you keep the deposit (are your agents on commission with this deposit?). Edit: Thank you for your reply. Are your agents on commission if they manage to keep a holding deposit? I witnessed the same property being shown to potential tenants a number of times AFTER I had left a holding deposit. Is this standard practice? Please just answer me this, does a holding deposit = effectively holding the property on the market until such time that the LL decides to give tenancy or not? It was clearly difficult for Issmail to concede that I can't have the property - after a dozen false promises , and finished with, But it is not 100% yet , he might still let you have it, nearly a month
