GoogleI gave them a 1-star review plus an additional star for their professionalism in protecting the interests of landlords and sellers. If you’re a prospect tenant or buyer, strongly advise you to be careful and guard your own interests. You may have noticed that there’re tenants/buyers giving good reviews. Well, maybe they’re just lucky enough to have got flats not requiring lots of expensive maintenance, such as fixing/replacing a boiler or heating. I was apparently not a lucky buyer, who is to pay a few thousand pounds to replace the boiler that broke down ONE night after I moved in, and another few thousands to fix the underfloor heating in the livingroom (which means I need to smash all the flooring first and get new flooring afterwards). But the thing is, the seller and the realtor had promised me that they’d fix everything for me before selling. After they had allegedly fixed the boiler and tested the underfloor heating, the realtor said to my face and I quote: “how can something we have just fixed breakdown any time soon?” Well, now I know that it was NOT my fault that I didn’t trust them back then. They’re just simply not trustworthy because you know what, the things they claimed to have been fixed are malfunctioning like a joke. It seemed like they just made the boiler and heating work temporarily for me to check, in order to rush me through the deal and get money out of me. Oh btw, there was something else also quite “interesting” happened when working with this realtor. Before they promised that they’d fix everything for me, I asked the realtor if I could go to the flat and check everything myself to see if there were any issues. The realtor said: “We have done a proper check on the flat already, everything is functioning. You don’t need to come to check.” Now look back at what have happened, I find that everything the realtor promised was a big hilarious joke (& lie). The realtor also tends to withhold information so do make sure you ask questions. In the beginning (I made the inquiry in 2022), they told me that the flat got 125 years left on the lease, when in fact, the flat would have 125 years left on the lease if we were living in 2007. Imagine how I spent Christmas and new year without hot water and heating in my livingroom. And don’t forget to check other 1- & 2-star reviews and imagine what if you’re the next unlucky one buying/renting a flat that requires maintenance but city wharf turns their back on you. Do you want to spend big bucks on a joke? I learned my lesson, definitely.

GoogleCitywharf impressed me with their seriousness and professionalism. I rented a London apartment from them in Hong Kong, and when I arrived, all the furniture was ready and the place was spotless, like brand new. I was extremely satisfied. Later, when there were any maintenance issues, their employee John Zhang responded quickly and was always happy to help resolve them. He is a very competent and professional employee, and I highly recommend this company.

GoogleCassie at citywharf was the most incredible estate agent we’ve dealt with. She was responsive and attentive, helping us with all our queries. And she really went out of her way to negotiate the details with the landlord to make our move as easy as it could be. She’s so nice and so helpful.
