A truly disappointing service, I can’t help but think positive reviews are from landlords, but let me tell you the customer experience is zero Edit: After renting with you for over a year, I’d like you to remove your comment as it is a lie. Customers have every right to raise concerns and negative experiences after being treated unfairly. Your lack of awareness and care, doubled with ignoring issues that affect the wellbeing of your clients. If I was a landlord I would not entrust my property in the hands of an agency which does nothing to fix humidity mould leaks. The cherry on top of the cake is living with no blinds on the ground floor of a building where over 5 attempted burglaries took place in less than 12 months. It was quite sad that you did nothing when I repeatedly raised this safety concern.

When it comes to selling my flat in Barnes I won’t be using this estate agent. Talk about mean spirited! I asked for a couple of sold price valuations to compare what I might get for my property and was told that they couldn’t do this! Talk about a bad business attitude!

Richard Reichwald is possibly the best Estate Agent in London! My partner and I purchased a property through Rich and it was not an easy process which was only held together by Rich's professionalism, constant client care and managing more than just the sale of the property we were buying. As well as Rich, whenever we called, the entire team were incredibly friendly and knowledgable. There is a big difference between an okay and a great Estate Agent and Chestertons in Barnes are very much at the top!

Worst Agency ever! They had us (family with 3 children) at our rental home two months without water at all and they never fixed any problem at our property…. They provide bad landlords and they don’t act in your behalf but they defend the crime, they only go after the money without caring about tenants clients, actually we had to get a Lawyer to solve the problem, at the moment they still working with the same landlord and cheating another family, so sad to deal with this kind of people

We recently moved into a new apartment and we were having Alex Wasey as estate agent. Really nice guy, made it really simple for us to deal with all paperwork since my partner was out of country, they waited for us an extra week to deliver all the paperwork. For the viewing showed me everything, even waited for me as I was late (got lost 😆) and then made it as a joke so I didn't have to feel awkward about being late. Would really recommend him as an agent. Really happy with experience.

On the whole my experience with Chestertons was a positive one. Sarah from the Barnes branch was more than accommodating with allowing us to go there a few times to take measurements and involving us in the process. Slightly un flexible when it came to payment methods for deposit for our particular circumstance, as this wasn't made completely clear when we signed the contract. I would suggest double checking this. Apart from that though, so far so good. Thanks Sarah!
