GoogleI have had a property in Knightsbridge for over 20 years and have dealt with almost all the high-end estate agents. Gemma and Rupert at Chelwood Partners have stood out head and shoulders above the rest in their sole commitment to find the most considerate and respectful tenants no matter how many viewings it takes. Renting property in London today is fraught with risk especially with the rise of Airbnb. We have had many situations where the client was willing to pay a year’s rent up front and, on the surface, had great references. However, due to Chelwoods forensic approach to reference checking, they found that these tenants were either a front for Airbnb business or their references in the end were fraudulent. These tenants and or their sub tenants had destroyed previous landlords flats and made other tenants life in the building a misery. GoogleChelwood Partners sold our house recently and we couldn’t have asked for better agents. From the get go Rupert and Ben took the time to understood our specific circumstance, were able to find buyers for our house in record time (without even officially listing it!) and guided us through the whole selling (and buying!) process. They continually kept us updated with the progress of our sale and went over and above to unravel bottlenecks further up the chain. The team at CP is small but from our experience they really know what they are doing and proved to be specialists in their market. We were in a rush to find a new place and Gemma and the Chelwood Partners team were incredibly helpful and friendly, sorting us a quick deal. We had to ask for a couple of document details to be corrected (e.g the postcode had been written down wrong), however they were quick to respond. Despite not managing the property they continue to help us with various bits and bobs - so thank you! Would recommend.
