Rupert, Ben and the team are the dream team of estate agents. They are knowledgeable, efficient, delivering pertinent advice in a timely manner. Always polite and professional they sold the house off market to a buyer that was ideal for our situation. It couldn't have been orchestrated and managed in a more sensitive way. We recently rented out our "between the commons" home. We had a number of other big name estate agents in and Rupert & Gemma stood out. They were straight forward, fair and efficient. They weren't the most expensive but nor were they the cheapest. They just came in with a price that was sensible and asked for a fair commission. How refreshing! We subsequently had other local friends sing their praises and so we had no hesitation appointing them. Their personal care and attention during viewings was noteworthy. They live locally, they attended a number themselves. It's an office full of grown ups. There were no last minute viewings that the freshly appointed intern, with no experience, had to attend! We felt very well looked after and, even with the inevitable few challenges we faced, they were always personally very responsive and helpful. We're hoping to have a similarly good experience ongoing with Veronica, our lettings manager, but we can highly recommend what we have seen so far.

Having just sold and bought through Chelwood Partners, we can’t recommend them highly enough. What stands them apart from others is the quality of service alongside the personal nature of the experience. A small team run by partners Ben, Gemma and Rupert means you know each of them personally. They all live locally and have many years experience between them. From initial valuation onwards, their knowledge and advice was spot on. They secured us the price we wanted for our house alongside a delayed completion date to give us time to find a new property, which we just so happened to find through them. In the past, we've not always had good experiences with managed properties/services, but Chelwood has really stood out. I used Chelwood Partners on the recent sale of my house in Ellerton Road, Wandsworth. My decision to go with a smaller agency was amply rewarded with the result produced. Rupert, Gemma and Ben performed superbly in locating a buyer, quickly securing a good and fair price on a complex transaction in a difficult market, and subsequently engaging tenaciously with all parties to get the transaction across the line. The whole team was enthusiastic, proactive, detail-oriented and constantly accessible throughout the process. There's a difference between a local business like Chelwood and a mainstream estate agent. First of all, at Chelwood you're dealing with experienced professionals who know and even live in the area. They avoid the hard sell, and they can help, efficiently, through the whole process of buying, facilitating the many tasks involved. Also, you know they're going to be around - the same people you dealt with - for a long time thereafter. In our case, they were extremely helpful in discovering the area, explaining the process, and putting us in contact with people who could help. I think they were great.
