Chase Evans bought over the previous agency that was managing my apartment and the difference this has made to me has been remarkable. They're very efficient and have great systems, and I spend considerably less time (or perhaps even none) to have to chase people for things like repairs or paperwork. I recently renewed my lease and Abhijit Gooptu from the Renewals Department did an excellent job. He was very knowledgeable and prompt. Would recommend the agency and its people.

I rented a property (IG11 7GT) through Chase Evans Lettings from October 2022 until the end of November 2025. Throughout the tenancy, I dealt directly with them for rent payments, the initial deposit, and all property-related matters. Unfortunately, their service was not consistently up to standard. Shortly after moving in, we experienced a bed bug issue which required repeated follow-ups and escalation before it was properly addressed. Communication during such matters was often slow and required unnecessary chasing. What is most disappointing is the handling of our deposit after vacating the property at the end of November 2025. Despite multiple follow-ups, we have not received our deposit back. We are being told they are “chasing the landlord” and awaiting a response. However, to my understanding, the property has already been re-let and rent is being collected, which suggests there is active communication with the landlord. It is frustrating that when it comes to returning our deposit, we are being directed elsewhere and advised to contact the deposit scheme ourselves. When the deposit was taken, payment was made directly to the agency, and communication was prompt and efficient. It is disappointing that the same level of support is not being provided now. I sincerely hope the CEO and senior management team review this case and ensure it is resolved promptly and fairly. Kind regards Hirok

Would give 0 stars if I could! All was good during negotiations, upon moving into property wasn’t ‘professionally cleaned’, even providing evidence. Upon telling them of this - nothing happened and they didn’t prove to me that this had happened! I told them upon moving out I would not be getting the property ‘professionally cleaned’ (multiple times even before just moving out). Then after about 5-6 weeks of chasing they decided to deduct the deposit, even though evidence had been given to them during and after tenancy! Customer service in this place to be honest is a joke and they just don’t care, having to chase them for a check out report, information from landlord and during tenancy to get things fixed (which took weeks just for them to acknowledge you) Will never use Chase Evans again and will be telling everyone I know not to go anywhere near them! The landlord even left them! Very poor company

Professional, provide above and beyond level of service.

This was a difficult sale, due to a difficult solicitor, and delays from the managing agent’s correspondence. Ginny was instrumental in chasing and keeping the process going, and providing reports on current progress (that you do not necessary get from your own solicitor), which helped to keep on top of issues before it become a disaster. I believe, without Ginny, the sale would’ve fallen through. She does more than just read emails, her behind the scene efforts is crucial to the success of this sale. Highly recommended.
