Abraham Rawat of Castles stepped into the breach in a difficult situation I found myself in. Things were looking desperate in a long saga of trying to sell-on a contract for an off-plan purchase of a flat I changed my plans on, while waiting for it to be built, during Covid lockdowns. Would highly recommend the Crouch End Castles team. We first met Abraham when listing our property for sale in the summer of 2021 on one of the hottest days of the year - though you could not tell by his 3 piece suit! He was professional but with a very understanding and human approach which I warmed to from the outset. HIs knowledge of the local area and properties is likely second to none. Abraham and Colin were both incredibly helpful in securing the sale of our flat and efficient at managing the buyers queries. After the purchase of a flat with an alternate agent fell through, Abraham quickly found a suitable property for me to stay locally and managed the upward chain and associated solicitors to ensure timely exchange and completion. I would not hesitate to recommend the team and will definitely use them for future property sales/purchases.

We used Castles both to sell our current property and to find us a new property. Abraham found us the perfect property (not an easy feat as we had a fair few requirements and we were reluctant to compromise) and ultimately secured the purchase for us. His knowledge of the market is impressive and Castles really do get the premier housing stock in Crouch End. We had some ups and downs on our sale and I have no doubt that without Abraham the sale would have fallen through. He got us a price over asking with not one but two buyers after the first fell through (finding the second buyer is less than a week) and was absolutely key is the sale proceeding. Having put our names on every estate agent call / mailing list, I can personally say that the offerings presented to us by Castles vs the others were night and day. I can honestly count on one hand the number of times I was contacted by Castles on a property meeting our needs, to which viewings followed, while the others just bombarded us with spam emails or calls pushing for us to consider properties, especially ones specifically excluded from our viewing criteria. Abraham, Sandro, and Colin were always helpful, knowledgeable, and personable. As a buyer they are hands down the best estate agency we have dealt with and have personally debunked the stereotypical estate agent stigma. If you are looking for a house in Crouch End and you are not in contact with Castles you are making a big mistake.

Abraham has helped me buy two houses - one for me ten years ago - and one for my parents. He is incredible. Meticulous and detailed when it comes to finding what you need - then relentless when it comes to securing the deal and getting it over the line. And all of it done with a huge amount of care and consideration and efficiency that takes so much of the stress out of the task. With my elderly parents - he could not have been kinder, constantly reassuring them and resolving any of the many issues they threw at him. For them, the timeframe was important - and he got the whole move done in under 4 weeks. I can't recommend Abraham highly enough. I still sit in our home now - a decade on - and can't believe we're actually here and know we wouldn't be here but for his tenacity and smart work. My own estate agent had been a nightmare - saved entirely by Abraham, who was selling the place we eventually bought. So - certainly 5 stars - more if I could. He is lovely and fun but will always tell you honestly what he thinks. In a sea of sharks - he's a dolphin.
