TrustpilotTenants are not treated as 'customers' in my experience.
I'd be positive if I could be, but I feel like a cash cow and not a customer. The previous agents engaged me in rent reviews, I felt like a valued tenant to them and the owner. For reasons I don't know, they were ousted by Carter Jonas last year 'and then the problems started'. 18% rise last year! These agents just assert rises. They set other houses at a high rent, then point AT THEIR OWN HOUSES to argue the prices have gone up. I sent a reply to their rent proposal this year, they claimed my proposal did 'not comply with tenancy law'. They admit market rate for my house last year has come down (the ONS data says so, too), yet they want more rent from me. 'Go figure' ! They like to assert things and don't seem to like you challenging them. Maybe they think the tenants work for them? They aggressively push rental prices for sitting tenants that my neighbours felt they had to leave, and the owner lost thousands when Carter Jonas could not find any renters at the price they were asking, so had to drop the rate again! What a waste. If they'd just had sensible rises, the owner would have ended up with more money and happy tenants!

I had a great experience throughout the entire process, from the initial search right through to moving into the apartment. All the executives were highly professional while also being extremely helpful. The agreement signing and handover of keys were completely hassle-free. They also supported me with raising name‑change requests with the local council and energy providers. The team was always available at the agreed times and responded promptly to all my queries. Overall, the experience was smooth and very well managed.

From start to finish Carter Jonas were helpful, proactive and friendly in helping us sell our late fathers property. Whlist the property is in a lovely setting it requires a lot of work to bring it up to todays standards. It was also once part of a large country estate and there were various issues with regard to shared facilities and access rights. CJ halped guide us through the process and came up with proactive suggestions on addressing those sticking points. If their lead agent was away for any reason someone immediately stepped in and ensure progress was not interupted.

Sam Jarvis was brilliant in the acquisition of the rental for our 2 bed property in Fulham. We wouldn't be living where we are now if he wasn't as quick and efficient with his email replies, always giving us in depth and great answers for any questions we had regarding the property. Naturally, renting somewhere for the first time in London was a tough experience, but having an agent like Sam who was extremely helpful and understanding with his replies made the process so much easier. Couldn't recommend more :)

Despite being worried about finding a flat in London in the current state of the housing market, CJ made it easy for us to view the flat, did not pressure us to make an offer which made us feel comfortable, and when we did decide to make an offer they, especially Sam, were helpful in letting us know next steps. I also emailed several times with loads and loads of questions which were all answered quickly and with clarity which made me feel better about the whole process.

We have been working with Carter Jonas in Fulham (their office is at 361 Fulham Palace Rd) for over 5 years. Igor Simonov leads the team and Sam Jarvis helps us daily. They are very professional and very helpful. Very important for all landlords - and tenants as well for that matter - they are honest and trustworthy. Over the years we dealt with other estate agents, and were pretty much often discontent. I would highly recommend working with Carter Jonas, Sam, Igor and his team.

Rental property managed by this company on behalf of Hs2 on moving out half my deposit kept for issues not really fair, they wanted £20 for grass seed! As the lawn had died just one petty example, trying to get repairs done is difficult, they send individuals round who haven’t a clue, bodge job fix with promises to come back then never do, then charges on the tenant for issues that wouldn’t have arisen had the repairs been completed fully. The excuse - it wasn’t reported. Well have they tried their website?? Jobs reported but not actioned for weeks, when the emails are finally read, it’s all about the money and not the customers (renters). Would strictly not rent a property managed by this company ever again. They are not there for the tenants but solely to make money and for their landlords. Rented all my life moved a few times and always got all my deposit back in full. Until now.

GoogleAfter sending an viewing enquiry to this firm via rightmove with no response for days then calling them several times just to get voicemail or in a meeting, leaving messages woth receptionist and via voicemail and still no callback i'd never sell a property through them as they seem more concerned with their own self-importance than actually facilitating property sales.

GoogleThey are an absolute disaster. They hid details about the apartment we rented, it was a complete mess, they were late for the viewing, and their service is the worst I've ever seen (and I've been in the real estate industry for eight years). I don't understand how they can do things so badly. I've never seen anything like it. They charge six months' rent upfront for appalling service. I sincerely hope people realize this.
