Many thanks to Brinkleys for selling my property, so much hard work went into it. Graeme was swift to get the property on the market pretty much within 24 hours, we had prospective buyers viewing almost every day. James went out of his way to find our buyer through word of mouth and negotiated and kept the sale to proceed despite multiple delays on our side. Last mention to Katherine who progressed the sale and ensured we were updated throughout.

Really on the ball with the new Renters' Rights Act

We have a property that has been let through Brinkleys for many years. They have always been friendly and competent, but not much more. Though in recent years a bit more efficient on minor faults and repairs than they used to be. But I have to say they are amazingly on the ball and pragmatic about the new Renters' Rights Act. I have a couple of properties let in another part of the country and our agents there are like a fish out of water, whilst Brinkleys' Lettings Agent Shazelle is absolutely anazing. I really think that this is a firm that has gone from being quite good to exceptionally good.

I was with Brinkley's for approximately 16 years. In the earlier years, the service was generally acceptable, though not outstanding. However, in more recent years, the quality of service declined significantly, which ultimately led to my decision to leave. Communication became increasingly difficult, and I often felt that my perspective as a landlord was not taken into account. Decisions were communicated to me rather than discussed, which made the relationship feel one-sided and frustrating. More recently a council tax bill relating to my property was held by the agency for several months and was not forwarded to me. As a result, I only became aware of the issue once it had escalated to a court summons, leaving me with a bill of £653 to resolve. This situation could have been avoided with more timely and proactive communication. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this agency to other landlords.

First of all huge thanks to JP personally! I have been renting in London for 15 years but I must say I have never experienced such amazing, friendly and professional service before. I found a property that I liked, we talked, JP booked a viewing on the day, called me to explain all details with no rush, calmly and very very diligently. And that was it, it took just 2-3 days to complete the referencing process and sign the contract. So big thanks to Gisella too.I strongly recommend this agency, it was such a wonderful surprise to know that there are still letting agents who treat you with a lot of understanding and respect. There was no push or a moment of discomfort at any point. Changing your home is stressful but JP made it feel so great! What an enjoyable experience. Thank you!

Dhruvika is everything a property manager should be (and more!)

With an initially tricky start with Brinkleys, we were "handed over" to Dhruvika to help deal with the mountain of problems in our flat. We recently used Brinkley' when moving to a new rental property in Wimbledon. The service from the outset from fantastic and more so, post our move in to the property. After moving in, we were promptly contacted by Dhruvika Patel​ (Property Manager) who advised that should we have any issues, we could reach out and she would ensure that any concerns or issues were resolved. Purchased a flat that was listed by Brinkley’s, and liaised with James H regarding this from the get go. He was very quick to let me view the flat, communicated my queries to the seller in a timely manner, and helped reach an offer than satisfied both parties.During the 3-4 months of documentation, legal, and final purchase completion he remained involved, ensuring no delays in property access for surveys and the like, and making sure keys were ready to be collected on the final completion date. As a tenant, I have often found letting agents to be quite disappointing - not delivering what they promised, failing at communication, among other things. However, Kate at Kariba Properties has been the best agent I have dealt with in the few years in London, hands down. Kate has always made the effort to communicate in order to understand the situation from all perspectives. Her conscientiousness is appreciated on all sides (landlord, tenant), as she is a great mediator. Despite some challenges, I always felt like I could trust her, therefore trust the agency.
