A cheating and dangerous auction agent. I bought a property in Blackpool in 2019. They advertised the property as a freehold worthed 10,000 at 75-77 Caunce Street, FY1 3NDI did not see legal pack properly and then ended up with the bills including their auctionee fee of 35,000 pounds.The nasty thing of the property I bought turned out a long leasehold 999 years and I have to pay rent, service charge etc and that is very surprising and dangerous .It caused and ruined my financial aspect and life. It took almost 4 years for years to repay the debt.I take them to the property authority but they did not do much. I intended to take them to the Court for misleading the public but have no money to pay legal fee.The authority should shut down this nasty auction agent. After you did so bad and dangerous things, karma will come back to you one day and let karma do all the work.

I had some tenants do a runner on me in February 2024, and that was whilst they were in the care of one of London's top letting agencies. So, you can imagine I was not ready to hand my property over to another agency easily. Enter Lauren McDowell and Christopher Robson from Battersea Branch - a cool, calm and collected pair that swept me under their wing and very soon found me some replacement tenants - nicely vetted and decent! The whole process was stress-free, quick and professionally executed.Thanks, Lauren and Christopher! It is good to know that you are my go-to people throughout the letting process, not like some other letting agents, where every time you phone, someone else is dealing with your matter and does not have a clue. Look forward to a long mutually beneficial relationship!

Have not assisting me to get my deposit (SUTTON BRANCH near the Sutton Station)They have not assisting me to get my deposit released by the landlord and No comment from the landlord as to any issues till to now and only ask me to wait. But my lease agreement ended since 27 February 2024. Even I enquire to them, but they suggested that I raise a dispute and still no any response.I appeal to all landlords not to place listings in this house as much as possible, so as not to cause more trouble for tenants.

GoogleSo far we've not had a great experience. When viewing the property, there were clearly issues to be sorted (which we were told they would be) and after moving in these still haven't been fixed. Basic things like the flat not being deep cleaned, back door being broken and just a lack of TLC. Sadly, we've been really disappointed with the lack of communication and urgency with regards to these repairs. Hopefully this can be resolved as soon as possible.

GoogleLet me start by saying this...This branch as a whole is great from start to finish. However Kirsty on the other hand is absolutely out of this world amazing. Honestly if I could have a business myself I would hire a million Kirsty’s. This young lady is absolutely delightful to deal with and is an asset to the company and really defines what a professional in the world of estate agency should look and act like. She made the process in letting our new home super easy and can’t thank her enough. Will definitely be using Barnard Marcus again in the future as my stress of finding a new home was put to easy with Kirsty. A real star which should be held onto and valued and used as an example. Not enough words to describe how great our experience was.

I called Barnard Marcus South Croydon at 16.02pm on Saturday 3rd December. There was no answer in spite of their website saying they were only closing at 16.30pm. It was an urgent matter as we were locked out of our apartment and needed the agent to contact the landlord.

TrustpilotLack of respect with tenant
I've been a single tenant since October 2023 and I've raised 2 simple requests to the letting agency since then without any feedback or resolution up to this date. They haven't provided a second set of keys as I asked to have a spare in case I have family visiting or for any emergency. They also haven't provided me the landlord details as I need to apply for visitor parking though the council and I can't do it without the landlord's information. It's absolutely unbelievable no one can help me with this for 4 months and I have no hope they will.

We helped move our son into a house managed by this crew… all smiles when they handed over the keys…. All downhill from there.1) toilet does not flush2) no heating3) disgusting mattress in one room 4) no hot water5) non- functioning shower but there is no hot water anyway.6) massive hole in wall behind washing machine So if you are a tenant be ware!!! And if you are a landlord…. Watch them like a hawk… your brand is being damaged.Get a grip people!!!
