Brandon was an amazing agent, he made me feel so comfortable asking questions as this was my first time going into a property by myself. He was so bubbly and outgoing, puts a smile on your face and makes you feel as if you are already welcomed into the place like it is home. He kept me updated quickly and always there to support through any questions and issues (not that there were any). He was on the ball with the whole move and made everything so smooth and easy! I honestly cannot fault him and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new home.

untrustworthy chancers

We had our placed valued and on the market with another agent. Barnard Marcus wrote to me to say they had a cash buyer specifically interested in our property. We varied our contract with another agent to allow for joint agency so we could contract with Barnard Marcus. After the contract was signed they ignored me for two weeks. There was no interested buyer. Fine, I fell for the oldest trick in the book, but as far as I'm concerned that's just dishonesty. They lied. Worse, they ignored us and had terrible customer service. Plus they got loads of details on the online listing wrong. I cancelled the contract during the cooling off period and I had to hassle them for several days (after the cancellation) to remove the listing. Unethical. Now, some brash bozo in their Southampton head office keeps badgering me on the phone. When I said I didn't have time to speak he rudely hung up. Needless to say, I don't recommend them.

We strongly recommend Lisa from Barnard Marcus! She is an outstanding estate agent. Lisa is the reason why in a matter of less than a week, we had found a buyer for the home we were selling and had also found a new home to move into. It is because of Lisa that we moved at exactly the right time from the home that we had outgrown to the home that fits our family perfectly. We are grateful for her excellent work, efficiency, availability whenever we needed her and lovely manner through it all. We had just started thinking about upsizing at some point in the future and had spoken to a couple of estate agents to get an idea of the market. Lisa provided the most accurate valuation. She also had potential buyers ready to view the house even before it went on the market. She patiently talked us through all our questions and concerns, and then achieved an excellent sale price for our house in a matter of a couple of days - all without our house even going online. She asked us what we were looking for in a new house and then found the perfect one for us! We only needed to view two or three and one of them ticked most of the boxes we had listed! There were a few initial hiccups with the purchase of our new home and she went out of her way to speak to the sellers and sort things out. Lisa was very very good and we cannot recommend her highly enough!

Never use them to let your flat out they lie about tenants they are putting in

Used by my fellow homeowner & friend in our small block of flats . They lied to her told her a professional woman in her 40’s they had lined up to rent her flat . Absolute rubbish the woman that moved in very young here on family reunion visa no hate but they lied . There is now 3 adult men , that young woman & her new baby living up there in a tiny 1 bedroom flat . Noisy , other issues. I’ve complained to Bernard Marcus as a homeowner in same small block . TOTALLY IGNORED . Do not ever use them to manage your home as a rental - ever! Liars who do not care . They will know exactly the property I’m writing about in Chiswick . Near Gunnersbury station . Never bothered to address my complaint or concerns about the amount of people living in that flat with the so called ‘professional’ woman in her 40’s they said they had dealt with before & knew. Liars . The owner is trying to remove them - I hope she sues Bernard Marcus for their deceit and complete unprofessional behaviour . I will definitely back her up 100% .
