He had indepth knowledge of the area, building projects and above all made sure he showed us properties that met our family's personal needs. Jeff was extremely approachable and open when it came to questions about the property and tenancy. FacebookI recently sold my flat through Baker and Chase. I tried another estate agent in Enfield but they didn’t get many viewings then told me the property was overpriced and I needed to drop the price by 20k (from the price they originally suggested). So I went to Baker and Chase. Stewart & Jason were straightforward to deal with, always gave me their honest opinion and kept me updated about outcomes from viewings. I found them really easy to deal with, the sale went through smoothly and I would definitely recommend them.

Google⚠️The worst experience i had 12 years in uk ⚠️was with baker & chase especially dealing with Amy they are the best when they want you to rent with them and when you leave they will Cut money from your deposit from stupid things and if you fix it your self you will never get the money i will be short (got the flat in very dirty condition like the pictures below and when i left I redecorate and clean it better than I get and still cut money from my deposit To long to fix somthing if is not working there is much more but that’s enough 👎
Hi Arnti, In response to your review, we would like to clarify why your deposit had deductions. There was additional cleaning that was needed, in particular the toilet which was heavily lime scaled below the water line, and the kitchen was heavily grease marked. The bathroom door also had damage, which needed to be repaired. The property was professionally cleaned when you moved in, as the inventory stated. The inventory was sent to you electronically allowing you 7 days to reply, comment or upload photos, before it is auto approved. However, you agreed to the inventory by electronically signing it, making no comments or adding any photos within the 7 day timeframe. Had you made us aware of the cleaning issue once you had moved the appliances, we would have sent a cleaner to rectify this issue. These were however only brought to our attention as part of this review. The photos that you have attached were behind the oven and the washing machine, and due to health and safety the cleaners are not insured to move heavy appliances, but all visible and accessible surfaces were clean. Every maintenance issue that you reported was handled and completed in a timely manner, subject to your availability for access to the property. The deposit deductions of £100 were claimed for via the deposit protection service (DPS), which is an independent arbitration service, and you had every opportunity to dispute the claim, but you agreed to these deductions and received the remaining balance of the deposit directly from the DPS. We have tried contacting you to discuss this matter, without success and therefore we have posted our response to you directly on here.
