Would just like to say a big thank you to Lisa Brookes.I would recommend anyone looking for good customer care, attention to detail and a professional and personalised experience to Lisa. An amazing listener which was duly noted as Im quite literal and very black and white person. She understood my position thus far and how I was not happy or satisfied. Did not complain or was rude but took me on and made it her mission to get me processed and through the system as quick as possible. Because of this I now have the accommodation I want. Was very close to taking my business elsewhere. Amber brown was very professional in the viewing and answered my queries.At first I wasn’t sure whether to leave a review due to certain difficulties I came up against whilst dealing with Bairstoweves but the way Lisa took on my case and made it her mission to turn my experience around was outstanding and should be an example.

Wondering how many of these 5 star reviews are legitimate as it’s like night and day to the service I’ve been provided. Did they get me an asking price offer within weeks? Yes. (By luck I feel - only 2 viewings. A third viewing arrived late and Bairstow Eves told them it was too late to view, even though we would have been very happy to show them round ourselves had we realised). Once obtained, did they totally lose interest in me, ignored questions in emails, fail to return calls and also fail to inform me when the mortgage survey had been booked, resulting in a reschedule and further delays? Yes. 2 stars for getting me an offer. -3 for abysmal customer service.

We were shown the property we ended up buying by Scott. He was a good communicator, relaying information to us efficiently, with clarity, and making rapid strides to progress the purchase, all of which were greatly appreciated. However, nearing the point of exchange and completion he called us to have a go at me about how many days he wanted us to leave between exchange and completion, without seeking clarification from us. As it happened, the reason why he was calling was based on incorrect information. I think this was incredibly unprofessional and overstepping the line by trying to pressuse us to act in a particular way when he is not our lawyer.

Hi, Had an overall good experience with Bairstow Eves. We had Ian come round to value the property and explain services provided. He was professional and friendly and Bairstow managed to sell the property above the value price within 2 weeks of being on the market. The marketing and advertising was good and chasing solicitors throughout the sale (quite critical service) was great. We were recommended to have an open house which was very effective. However, the estate agent we had to show people around arrived late and did not come very prepared or leave time to ask us for information meaning he was unable to answer some of the questions asked at the open house. In the end, the buyers we had were ones that we had shown round the property ourselves. I would recommend Bairstow, but would also make sure to ensure that the estate agent who comes round for viewings is prepared.

Working with Karen was a breeze from the moment we phoned her to the last time we saw her when she gave us the keys. Also, we got a place 4 minutes from where I work which was absolutely brilliant, so it was a very happy time and honestly it felt like we had known Karen for a long time even though we hadn’t. These nuances count for a lot as you look back and say wow I can’t believe how perfectly well that went. No hiccups, no frostiness, no hardness just relaxed friendly people working efficiently to set you up with what you want by way of living location and prices etc. Big thumbs up from me and the pea wife 👍👍👍

Thanks to the superhero trio comprising Jade, Amy, and Joseph, our Christmas miracle came true! Jade was our trusty point of contact, and when she took a day off for training, Amy swooped in to save the day. And let's not forget Joe, who kept us in the loop when Jade and Amy were off gallivanting. From start to finish, their service was top-notch, leaving us with nothing but smiles.Now, here's the twist: the only hiccup we encountered was the moving-in gift box they provided. Can you believe it? 0.0% beer! It's like they were trying to test our resolve. Almost had us deducting a star from our rating! But hey, let's not dwell on that minor blip. First of all, thank you Katrina! I got inside Barstow Eves by chance and I was lucky to find Katrina. Looking for a place in London is not easy, and sometimes is because the agent cannot exactly get what we are looking for. After a 5 minutes chat and a viewing Katrina understood exactly what I wanted and from them on it was super fast to find the place that I now call home. Apart from being super professional, Katrina was friendly and helpful whenever I needed any clarification. AVOID AT ALL COST!! We bought our house through them 2 years ago and it’s the worst experience I’ve had with any estate agents. I’ve since seen people dropping them in my street and using other agents that sold the house much quicker after having it listed for ages with this branch. Just a few things that went wrong with us: didn’t show up to appointments, canceled and reschedule several times, came to the visit unprepared with no information and also didn’t try to find out for us, lied about so many aspects which had been a nightmare when renovating the house. We made an offer in June and they delayed the whole process by 2 months because of their inability to respond emails, questions and arrange a second visit at a time that worked for us without rescheduling many times. Awful, awful experience, please save time and money by hiring someone else. I wish seller would have known how bad they were as felt any commission, even if lowest in the market, was way to much.
