Wanted to take the opportunity to thank bairstow eves Stratford for the excellent service received. I particularly want to highlight the work from Ian Merchant and Rebecca grant who consistently went beyond the call of duty. My transaction was a complex and difficult one and the level of help and expert guidance received from Ian steered me through a long and difficult process, which lead to me completing my process and achieving a fantastic price. Needless to say I would recommend him and his team highly. Rebecca arranged my mortgage on my purchase and was always there to hold my hand and navigate my through the process from start to finish. I cannot be happier and commend the team. Well done and thank you.

Very unprofessional rental agent

Very unprofessional rental agent. Very doggy. Said I failed my reference when after just 2 days. I provide 2 bank details which one was my salary account and they intentionally did use the salary account. Came back and said the other accounts doesn't have trace of income.They told me the Landlord is going with someone else. Please for anything you do, don't use them except you want to lose your holding deposit or they might make life a living hell for you even if they give you the house. They can do anything for money these lot.

I have used Bairstow eves to manage my property

I have used Bairstow eves to manage my property for the last two years. However the deliverables that were set out when signing the agreement were not met, from increasing rent annually according to market rent, to making sure that licenses were in place throughout the two year let. I have both times went out and got the gas certification and then sent it over to them myself, this was a managed service and Ideally they should have provided this service if not a reminder at least.

Fantastic work from start to finish selling my property. Ian came over to value and was spot on with where things ended up happening, which was no surprise given they are the only agent who have sold houses in Stratford for a while. Viewings were done smoothly with excellent communication and updates from Ellie/Vasco/Scott etc. and then post offer communications equally strong. Special thank you for Ian for managing a particular challenging situation with a chain and nailing the outcome.

Very poor communication & unprofessional experience. I would not recommend using the Cannock branch. Lack of dedicated service to sell a property when we are the paying customers, no faith in them doing anything they say, if you can get in touch with them the right person will never be there and they will be blame it on someone else. A very frustrating experience go elsewhere!!!!

Would highly reccomend the team here at Stratford and massive thanks to Scott. During the process of buying our first property, Scott listened to exactly what we wanted and our budget and when a property came up that he knew would be perfect for us he called me straight away. During the process of buying the property anytime we had questions or needed someone to help us liaise with the seller Scott was there. When Scott wasn't there the other workers (Ellie and Ian) stepped right in and kept things moving and kept in constant contact with us.

Went into the Stratford, London store today and the team were brilliant. Incredibly welcoming and they made me feel at ease. I spoke to Rejaul about a rental query and he was amazing. I have been looking for house on zoopla and came accross few properties which belongs to bairstoweves,intially they were saying viewing are unavailable then later on they don’t even answer phone and when they answered they were showing properties only which they want to show and not one we want or shown available.One of the most vulnerable experience staff don’t care they don’t come back to you i would never want property from them

They do a bare minimum so we ended up without a flat

I would give 0 stars if i could. We dealt with Stratford agency. Let me explain the situation. We found a flat to buy and unfortunately, the agency that published it was Bairstow eves.The first bad sign was that we waited for a man who should've shown us a property for 15 minutes (his name is Vasco Correia, just so you know the heroes by names) and after 3 calls to their call centre we were told to try to call the apartment number as he's already there. We've called a few times - failed. We managed to enter the building and get to the flat after a while. When Vasco opened the door we complained about the situation and that we'd been waiting for 20+ minutes to which he replied "so what? are you going to see the flat or not?". We were pissed with the attitude and the situation but had a look on a flat. We liked the flat so much and decided to make an offer (hadn't trusted our guts, unfortunately).The process took 6 months, each time we had to call them ourselves because otherwise, we didn't receive any updates from them and the seller. Our sales progression was Ellie Lynch (well, I would call her sales REgression). Every time she and her colleagues told us that they were doing their best but if it was true we wouldn't ended up being homeless. We've been telling her that our tenancy contract will end at the end of October since August and she didn't tell us that we should prolong it as the seller is looking for a new home herself and won't move out until she buys it. So we trusted them and ended up without a flat with all our stuff.I hate the day we've decided to proceed with this agency and the flat they listed. Hope everyone who's uncertain to work or not to work with Bairstow eves will choose not to work but to save their mental health and their money.

Baistoweves Wanstead London…not professional

this review is for Wanstead London branch. They are not keen to sell the property they just need the property to be in their portfolio. I do not recommend if you are looking to sell to use this firm. I had my property for well over 4 months, ultimately I decided to take it off, still I had to give 1 month notice, even though I have already informed I have decided to remove, they don't even answer to the calls. so how can a potential buyer contact them. Even after giving them in writing 1 month notice still they didn't remove from advertising on rightmove. She calls and says to put it under Auction method. Seriously?
