They do a bare minimum so we ended up without a flat

I would give 0 stars if i could. We dealt with Stratford agency. Let me explain the situation. We found a flat to buy and unfortunately, the agency that published it was Bairstow eves.The first bad sign was that we waited for a man who should've shown us a property for 15 minutes (his name is Vasco Correia, just so you know the heroes by names) and after 3 calls to their call centre we were told to try to call the apartment number as he's already there. We've called a few times - failed. We managed to enter the building and get to the flat after a while. When Vasco opened the door we complained about the situation and that we'd been waiting for 20+ minutes to which he replied "so what? are you going to see the flat or not?". We were pissed with the attitude and the situation but had a look on a flat. We liked the flat so much and decided to make an offer (hadn't trusted our guts, unfortunately).The process took 6 months, each time we had to call them ourselves because otherwise, we didn't receive any updates from them and the seller. Our sales progression was Ellie Lynch (well, I would call her sales REgression). Every time she and her colleagues told us that they were doing their best but if it was true we wouldn't ended up being homeless. We've been telling her that our tenancy contract will end at the end of October since August and she didn't tell us that we should prolong it as the seller is looking for a new home herself and won't move out until she buys it. So we trusted them and ended up without a flat with all our stuff.I hate the day we've decided to proceed with this agency and the flat they listed. Hope everyone who's uncertain to work or not to work with Bairstow eves will choose not to work but to save their mental health and their money.

Baistoweves Wanstead London…not professional

this review is for Wanstead London branch. They are not keen to sell the property they just need the property to be in their portfolio. I do not recommend if you are looking to sell to use this firm. I had my property for well over 4 months, ultimately I decided to take it off, still I had to give 1 month notice, even though I have already informed I have decided to remove, they don't even answer to the calls. so how can a potential buyer contact them. Even after giving them in writing 1 month notice still they didn't remove from advertising on rightmove. She calls and says to put it under Auction method. Seriously?

Definitely find a better estate agent

A few weeks ago I received a telephone call from a young member of staff at Bairstow Eves. He asked me if I was interested in selling my property. I told him no. I had bought it through them funnily enough and had just spent four months renovating it. He suggested I have a valuation despite my saying I didn’t want to sell. Eventually I agreed because I thought it would be good to see what it was worth now it had been renovated. Two text messages and a long and detailed email confirming that the manager was looking forward to meeting me at my property later that week at 12:30. She didn’t turn up and when I telephoned, I was informed that it was a desktop valuation, despite the fact that I had a an email telling me the valuation would be at my property. Having dealt with them when I bought the property and having them not bothering to respond to my email to express my dissatisfaction that they hadn’t bothered to come and do the valuation, I would never ever deal with them again. I think they are a shabby organisation and there are much better estate agents to deal with.

Carlton office provide excellent service

My past experiences of using estate agents for house purchases or sales have never been positive. That is until now. Our transaction was fairly simple as we had a first time buyer buying our house and that was the end of the chain. I found communications excellent. Never any delays. Always helpful. Always on time. Conducted viewings for us. Price was very reasonable and there were no hidden costs. Katie and Chloe at the Carlton office handled the whole transaction very professionally. Thank you

I can highly recommend Bairstow Eves who helped us find an secure a rental flat for our daughter and her partner. As they are mature students they were finding it difficult for anyone to give them the chance of renting, even though they have savings and guarantor. Itayi Ndunduma was wonderful, guiding us the whole way and helping us to find a flat. Itayi is the kindest person and so calm and helpful. I would have no hesitation in recommending him if you want a letting agent who really cares. Thank you Itayi.

To all landlords leave them as soon as you can. These people don't listen to landlords. They done investigate. They only work to pass on cost to landlord. They dont care if the property is damaged or not been looked after. They even done care if tenant is in breach of tenancy agreement.

STAY CLEAR of this branch!! Absolutely disgusting customer service. The manager David Millar is a terrible and dishonest man. This company turned away three offers without telling me. Then reduced the property by £20,000 without telling me. Never answered the phone to cummuncate. Removed my property off the housing market websites with out my knowledge or consent. Awful branch. Don't understand how or why they kept the manager. Sold my data and broke the contract. Sent harassing emails with lies and stories.

Excellent service, me and my wife called up to rent a property with your company, spoke to a gentleman called Moss and he was really polite and friendly over the phone he helped us locate the property that was suitable for our needs. Unfortunately Moss couldn’t make the viewing so he called us and was professional and told us the situation and his colleague Mohamed will attend on his behalf. He was also polite and really professional, he was very apologetic that Moss was unable to come and he took us to the property and done a splendid job, he made us fall in love with the property and answered any questions we had for him, the company are very lucky to have two great advisors such as these two, thank you very much and we love our new flat.
