Poor quality viewings and service

The Clapham branch sales negotiator was late for the viewing and didn’t ask anyone from the office to notify us (15 minutes late). He had also double booked the appointment, the entire booking was a bit of a disorganised mess. There was a fair bit he wasn’t aware of and generally wasn’t that helpful. The specifications I gave weren’t followed in the viewings. I was ignored when asked if I wanted a broker and my contact information was shared when I had asked for it not to.

We explored several local estate agents before choosing this one. While not all were unprofessional, some left us feeling unheard and patronised. We were very clear about our needs, particularly around pricing, but many simply couldn’t deliver or didn’t seem to take us seriously. This estate agent was different from the start. They brought two team members to our first meeting instead of just one, which gave us a clear sense of how the process would be managed. Everything was communicated clearly, and the entire transaction ended up being one of the smoothest and fastest we’ve ever experienced. We are especially grateful to Lee and Aman, who worked very closely with us throughout the process. They are both highly skilled and experienced, and it really showed in how they handled every detail with care and professionalism. They genuinely felt like they were on our side throughout. Aman, their in-house mortgage advisor was also fantastic: supportive, responsive, and quick to prioritise us during a few stressful moments. That kind of peace of mind made all the difference. We would absolutely recommend this estate agent to anyone who wants to be treated as a serious, genuine buyer. If you're looking for an agency that respects your time, listens to your needs, and delivers results, this is the one.

We couldn’t have hoped for a better estate agent than Bairstow Eves. We had top class service - professional, friendly, diligent and 100% committed. Jane Crosland guided us expertly through the process of selling our family home, gave brilliant advice and her experience in pricing and marketing were invaluable (and spot on). Absolutely disgusting service

Absolutely disgusting service, they come across very professional when they value the house, but once its on the market the staff are unhelpful and take days to answer emails. The details were incorrect online as it was put live without us agreeing the details, the pictures were awful and the one thing we did make them change. There has been no effort to sell the house, only having one viewer in two months. Only to find out that the contract is for 4 months too, devastated. Stay away from this company.

Emma has been an absolute star! Honestly, we had a hugely difficult onwards purchase and she dealt with it with honesty, hard work, dedication and attention. Very unprofessional rental agent

Very unprofessional rental agent. Very doggy. Said I failed my reference when after just 2 days. I provide 2 bank details which one was my salary account and they intentionally did use the salary account. Came back and said the other accounts doesn't have trace of income.They told me the Landlord is going with someone else. Please for anything you do, don't use them except you want to lose your holding deposit or they might make life a living hell for you even if they give you the house. They can do anything for money these lot.

I have used Bairstow eves to manage my property

I have used Bairstow eves to manage my property for the last two years. However the deliverables that were set out when signing the agreement were not met, from increasing rent annually according to market rent, to making sure that licenses were in place throughout the two year let. I have both times went out and got the gas certification and then sent it over to them myself, this was a managed service and Ideally they should have provided this service if not a reminder at least.

Very poor communication & unprofessional experience. I would not recommend using the Cannock branch.
