I had a really difficult time when my previous let was cancelled and I was staying in an Airbnb with all my belongings in storage. Elaine at the Wanstead office was absolutely amazing, she immediately contacted several branches to find me a property and quickly arranged a viewing in Stratford. Thanks to her constant support and follow-up, I was able to move in within just a few days. She even helped me complete all my documents at the Wanstead office to save me travel time. Very unprofessional rental agent. Very doggy. Said I failed my reference when after just 2 days. I provide 2 bank details which one was my salary account and they intentionally did use the salary account. Came back and said the other accounts doesn't have trace of income.They told me the Landlord is going with someone else. Please for anything you do, don't use them except you want to lose your holding deposit or they might make life a living hell for you even if they give you the house. They can do anything for money these lot.

We sold our property through Jake at Bairstow and the whole experience from start to finish was nothing short of excellent. Jake went above and beyond at any opportunity and always made us feel like we were his number one priority. Very helpful, even beyond the normal requirements of his role, for example mediation / communication between buyer and seller in the final stages of the sale, helping to provide access to contractors, updates on the sale process, key handling, meter readings, etc. Always contactable, even out of hours. He expressed a real passion for his work and this really comes across in the viewings and he built a real rapport with the viewers. Jake made sure he knew everything about the property so he was always ready with answers to any queries from viewers / buyer. He has years of experience as an agent and this was very clear to see when observing the viewings. Overall Jake was very helpful, very friendly, very professional, smart, confident, honest and transparent, and it really felt like he cared for us as people, not just the sale. I would always trust Jake over and over again to sell my property. He shines out above the rest.

My housemate and I found our first home together using Bairstow Eves. We had been looking for weeks with 0 luck. We received a call from Elaine offering us a property that was yet to go on the market. She arranged a viewing the same day and within the week she got us into the property as promised. Adam was also a huge help working after hours to allow this to happen. Elaine and Adam went above and beyond to help us. They are a real asset to the team. Would 100% recommend.

Very poor communication & unprofessional experience. I would not recommend using the Cannock branch. Lack of dedicated service to sell a property when we are the paying customers, no faith in them doing anything they say, if you can get in touch with them the right person will never be there and they will be blame it on someone else. A very frustrating experience go elsewhere!!!!

I have been looking for house on zoopla and came accross few properties which belongs to bairstoweves,intially they were saying viewing are unavailable then later on they don’t even answer phone and when they answered they were showing properties only which they want to show and not one we want or shown available.One of the most vulnerable experience staff don’t care they don’t come back to you i would never want property from them

They do a bare minimum so we ended up without a flat

I would give 0 stars if i could. We dealt with Stratford agency. Let me explain the situation. We found a flat to buy and unfortunately, the agency that published it was Bairstow eves.The first bad sign was that we waited for a man who should've shown us a property for 15 minutes (his name is Vasco Correia, just so you know the heroes by names) and after 3 calls to their call centre we were told to try to call the apartment number as he's already there. We've called a few times - failed. We managed to enter the building and get to the flat after a while. When Vasco opened the door we complained about the situation and that we'd been waiting for 20+ minutes to which he replied "so what? are you going to see the flat or not?". We were pissed with the attitude and the situation but had a look on a flat. We liked the flat so much and decided to make an offer (hadn't trusted our guts, unfortunately).The process took 6 months, each time we had to call them ourselves because otherwise, we didn't receive any updates from them and the seller. Our sales progression was Ellie Lynch (well, I would call her sales REgression). Every time she and her colleagues told us that they were doing their best but if it was true we wouldn't ended up being homeless. We've been telling her that our tenancy contract will end at the end of October since August and she didn't tell us that we should prolong it as the seller is looking for a new home herself and won't move out until she buys it. So we trusted them and ended up without a flat with all our stuff.I hate the day we've decided to proceed with this agency and the flat they listed. Hope everyone who's uncertain to work or not to work with Bairstow eves will choose not to work but to save their mental health and their money.

Baistoweves Wanstead London…not professional

this review is for Wanstead London branch. They are not keen to sell the property they just need the property to be in their portfolio. I do not recommend if you are looking to sell to use this firm. I had my property for well over 4 months, ultimately I decided to take it off, still I had to give 1 month notice, even though I have already informed I have decided to remove, they don't even answer to the calls. so how can a potential buyer contact them. Even after giving them in writing 1 month notice still they didn't remove from advertising on rightmove. She calls and says to put it under Auction method. Seriously?
