this review is for Wanstead London branch. They are not keen to sell the property they just need the property to be in their portfolio. I do not recommend if you are looking to sell to use this firm. I had my property for well over 4 months, ultimately I decided to take it off, still I had to give 1 month notice, even though I have already informed I have decided to remove, they don't even answer to the calls. so how can a potential buyer contact them. Even after giving them in writing 1 month notice still they didn't remove from advertising on rightmove. She calls and says to put it under Auction method. Seriously?

A few weeks ago I received a telephone call from a young member of staff at Bairstow Eves. He asked me if I was interested in selling my property. I told him no. I had bought it through them funnily enough and had just spent four months renovating it. He suggested I have a valuation despite my saying I didn’t want to sell. Eventually I agreed because I thought it would be good to see what it was worth now it had been renovated. Two text messages and a long and detailed email confirming that the manager was looking forward to meeting me at my property later that week at 12:30. She didn’t turn up and when I telephoned, I was informed that it was a desktop valuation, despite the fact that I had a an email telling me the valuation would be at my property. Having dealt with them when I bought the property and having them not bothering to respond to my email to express my dissatisfaction that they hadn’t bothered to come and do the valuation, I would never ever deal with them again. I think they are a shabby organisation and there are much better estate agents to deal with.

My past experiences of using estate agents for house purchases or sales have never been positive. That is until now. Our transaction was fairly simple as we had a first time buyer buying our house and that was the end of the chain. I found communications excellent. Never any delays. Always helpful. Always on time. Conducted viewings for us. Price was very reasonable and there were no hidden costs. Katie and Chloe at the Carlton office handled the whole transaction very professionally. Thank you

GoogleJust relet our Battersea Flat with Bairestowe Eves . Once again I've had an excellent service from this branch . They've again found ideal tenants, They made the process painless - & they are always on hand to advise on any relevant matter regarding optimising the property. I've had literally no period without tenants - one out one in same weekend. We’ve a flat in Battersea which has been successfully let through Lavender Hill Bairestoweves for many years. After recent departure of long term tenants the property was in need of a “refurb & refresh” prior to welcoming new tenants. The team at Lavender Hill were delightful to deal with. Ryan arranged & coordinated numerous trades to quickly& efficiently bring the property back up to spec, allowing me to furnish & style the property and have it back on the market 3 weeks after vacation. Ryan & Ben secured really competitive rates with local tradesmen & the work was completed to high standard. Obi showed the flat once I had restyled it & found lovely new tenants within the first weekend. Petra & Camilla completed follow up & relevant administration & were efficient, responsive & friendly. A very positive experience all round. Congratulations Team Lavender Hill, well done guys & thank you. I’m sure the new tenants will be really happy in their new “pad”

GoogleI was very pleased with the service that I received from Bairstow Eves Battersea this time around. Matt the new Manager is an absolute diamond. He is a true asset to the company. He went over and above time and time again with my various requests/questions prior to, during, and even after the re-letting of my flat and is definitely worth his weight in gold! As well as being a really nice guy who is truly dedicated to his job, he truly cares about his clients and also truly cares about achieving 100% client satisfaction. My thanks must also go to Tony who has maintained ties over several years and who was the person to recommend Matt to me. Thanks to Tony and Matt I have happily returned to Bairstow Eves after a bad experience many years ago with a previous Lettings Manager who has now left.

DO NOT BUY OR SELL WITH BAIRSTOW EVES SOUTHEND ON SEA. Absolute Mickey Mouse setup where the agents dont even know who to contact to confirm a viewing! And so rude and unprofessional!Happy to explain more but not enough space!! Plenty of good Estate Agents around, I implore you not to use them!!!

To all landlords leave them as soon as you can. These people don't listen to landlords. They done investigate. They only work to pass on cost to landlord. They dont care if the property is damaged or not been looked after. They even done care if tenant is in breach of tenancy agreement.

We met Cameron from Bairstow and immediately felt at ease in comparison. We were listened to about what we wanted and needed and everything was met. Not only that but all the paperwork was done in a timely fashion and we moved in as quickly as possible thanks to his help. Can predict this is going to be an easy and ongoing relationship with Bairstow Estate Agents.
