Having let properties for many years I can claim that Andrews is the worst agent I have ever used. Their main concern was to let my property in the shortest time possible, the tenants moved in 1 day after Andrews received the final reference, and the substantial concerns of the referencing agency were ignored. The full deposit was not collected, and the references (all failures) were not checked or the contents disclosed to me (other than "everything on them was fine”). There were fundamental failures even to verify the tenant's addresses. Andrews did meet the cost of repossession but refused to reimburse lost rent, or take any action against the “guarantor” who Andrews guaranteed would result in “no loss to you”. Andrews offered £1200 in compensation. After a review by the Property Ombudsman, all my complaints were accepted and I was awarded £8200 to cover unpaid rent and damaged furniture. I will be pleased to supply a copy of the Ombudsman’s report to any interested landlord. Date was date of actual experience.

From the first Andrews we’re helpful and knowledgable about selling our house. Once an offer was accepted Kate Cullen worked so hard with difficult matters regarding the sale and also our purchase. Very helpful and prompt; answering all my many emails and ‘phone calls with a friendly air. Kate went far and above her role, and don’t think we would have been able to move without her. A true five star gem.

If it wasn’t for Duane I would have walked away from the purchase, but Duane with his vast experience and knowledge got hold of the solicitors and made sure everything went smoothly as the solicitors were working slowly and delaying the progress.
