GoogleI have no idea where some of the good reviews come from (probably their own freinds!), but I called inquiring about a property, and from the guy who picks up the phone, to the manager, they were all rude, unprofessional and short - like they could not be bothered, they seem to have no interest in helping the customers. Worst agancy I've ever spoken to! I was booked for viewing for 1 property. No 1 they showed me a wrong property 😂 2. When finally they managed to find out which out is already rented and which one is not, I made an offer and waited 1 week for their respond. Haven’t heard nothing from them and waited only to see the property been let to someone else without responding to my offer a week later. Unprofessional and time wasters! Avoid at all costs!! If you want a hassle free life, do not rent from them!!!!!NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleI lived in a property let out by Alwyne for a year and it was a surprisingly great experience, especially compared to our previous managing agents. Every time something went wrong or we needed something fixed or dealt with Alwyne were quick to respond and send plumbers or follow up with an issue. Freddie, Jack, Chris and Emily dealt with everything super professionally - they also know the area very well and are honest and transparent about what to expect.

GoogleMyself and my partner rented a flat through Alwyne Estates last year. The experience, which normally results in headaches and all manner of peril, was made super-smooth by the Alwyne Team. I had the good fortune of meeting Malcolm L. who is really a prince among men when it comes to offering a personal service, with care, compassion and udnerstanding. Malcolm understands what tenants need and is always there to help( he's answered my calls and emails at all times, even in weekends - that is saying something). Would definitely recommend Alwyne Estates. Even though we are now in the process of changing flats - we are looking forwards to a continued collaboration with Malcolm and the whole Alwyne Team. Chris from Alwyne was extremely responsive and helpful when we asked him to open the door to our home to an engineer who could only come to do works during working hours. Was greatly appreated. I just wish our landlord would decide to invest in the common areas of the building which are in an appalling state!

My experience of Alwyne Estates was positive when renting a flat. They were responsive to correspondence and moved things forward. They were professional and acted as a good mediator between the landlord and tenants. They were flexible in meeting us outside of office hours despite the extra pressures of entering a holiday period.

GoogleAfter more than 3 years as a tenant I can only say I've never dealt with a better agent. On the coldest day of the last winter I woke up to find the boiler packed in, I rang them at 9.00am & they not only did they get a plumber in the same day, but located and fitted a new pump with the minimum of fuss as well. I can't recommend them highly enough, and they are a nice bunch to deal with too.

GoogleEstate agents are a group of people I have to deal with quite frequently, lately I have started to use Alwyne Estates who have proven to be superb. They respond quickly and effectively and provide a very personable transparent service. The last flat I let through them simply wouldn’t have happened without the resourceful, determined approach adopted by Steve James. They are a pleasure to deal with on every level and don’t make up silly excuses which just insult your intelligence.

We have rented our many properties in the past and we can safely say that Freddie, Jack and the Alwyne team are THE most professional and competent team that we have worked with. GoogleAlwyne has managed my rental agreement (with the landlord) for the last 3 years. Although at times they can be slow to respond to emails, they’re generally diligent and very accessible in-person and over the phone. They’ve quickly sorted any property challenges (boiler, heating, bills, etc) with contractors. Friendly staff. Overall would recommend to other letters.
